The Senior Rights Coordinator will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and obtaining signature for all contracts for the Translation and Digital Rights licensing teams. The Contracts Coordinator will report to the Senior Operations Manager, and work with all Sales Managers on the Rights & Licensing team to carry out contracts for all licensing deals.
How you will make an impact:
Assist the Senior Operations Manager with generating translation and digital rights licensing contracts for all license deals made by Wiley's Rights & Licensing team, and follow-up for those contracts.
Ensure contracts are approved by Contracts Manager, signed by Operations Director, and sent to our licensing customers for countersignature.
Communicate and work with:
Sales managers to ensure all business terms are correctly captured before contract can be processed.
Licensing customers to ensure they are able to execute and return contracts digitally.
Contracts Manager and Sales Managers to address questions raised by licensing customers to ensure contract and business points negotiated match.
Assist the Contracts Manager and respective Operations' colleague to ensure all contract documents are properly archived.
Help Reinforce Rights database deal entry process by the Sales Managers to ensure system is used and maintained correctly, including sharing how-to instructions as needed.
Quickly report to Contract Manager and Director any technical issue needing IT support.
Generate reports regularly and promptly, and review with Contracts Manager as needed.
We are looking for people who:
Have at least 3 years experience drafting and negotiating rights licensing contracts.
Have familiarity with publishing contracts.
Are experienced using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, and Teams.
Are comfortable learning, using, and managing proprietary software.
Have the ability to multitask and act in a fast-paced environment.
Are detail oriented in prioritizing while ensuring no contract is overlooked.
