Core Responsibilities
Reviews, analyzes and organizes RFP information.
Engages with sales and collaborative teams to manage/monitor process from strategy creation through contract execution.
Prepares draft responses for Requests for Proposal (RFP's) for Commercial SalesTeams.
Take leadership role in presenting the business opportunity and essential project planning and review.
Facilitate sales and revenue management strategy calls and follow-up.
Maintain and update electronic "library" (Qvidian) of complete, approved proposal and RFP responses.
Collaborate with business teams - sales, operations, customer service, accounts receivables, pricing, finance - to ensure accurate responses for customer requirements pertaining to deliverables, timelines, etc.
Ensure that customer data (including customer's logo, industry information) is accurate and available.
Provide input and recommendations on potential improvements and revisions to the overall RFP process cycle.
Develop strong working relationships with key subject matter experts throughout the organization in order to maintain knowledge, facilitate cooperation and ensure timely responses to specific proposal questions.
Consistently deliver dependable, accurate and timely proposal responses.
Mentor and support the training of new Analysts.
Support the growth and increased functionality of the RFP response database.
Facilitates kick off meeting, provides schedule and assigns tasks
Collaborates with team to create proposal response
Formats and edits the response for grammar, accuracy and consistent look and tone
Conducts weekly meeting and prepares weekly RFP status updates
Meets proposal deadline by ensuring all tasks are completed on time
Maintains central repository for RFP source response documents
Works with key stakeholders to continuously improve processes and templates
Supports the entire sales process, including strategy planning and presentation development
Participates in RFP debrief activities
Leverages knowledge of Owens & Minor programs to promote the appropriate programs
Attends and participates in internal meetings and/or trainings
Provides additional support, as needed
