Sr. Research And Development Engineer

Job Duties:

• Develop new products by implementing new chemistry and modern technology for the consumer and commercial construction markets

• Design and execute experiments to qualify new raw materials and new raw material sources and suppliers

• Apply cost engineering formulas to increase profitability

• Re-design formulas for enhanced performance

• Supervise and train technicians and junior engineers

• Lead the R&D activities for certain categories of products

Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Master's degree in Chemical or Civil engineering, Chemistry or related field of study; and 1 year of work experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the experience in the required skills was gained. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Civil engineering, Chemistry or related field of study; and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the experience in the required skills was gained.

Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:

• Working in a lab environment;

• Analytical methods, formulation, mechanical testing, design of experiments; and

• Cement chemistry, adhesives or coatings; and

• Automatic construction, sustainability, and carbon footprint reduction.
