Our Research Analyst will be part of our Americas Flexible Workspace Team, with a primary focus on our top US markets. This position will support our Flex Team by providing market intelligence, strategic analytical tools, and insightful interpretation that effectively tell the flexible space story to our investors, brokers and other clients.

Serve as an active member of a sales development team to identify and qualify prospects for flex space. May handle a wide variety of data gathering assignments including tracking vacant space, asking lease and purchase terms, recent transactions, and stacking plans with lease expiration information for existing buildings and other miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Job Responsibility:

Strategic Partner

  • Research Analysis
  • Provide team with research and interpretation including written and statistical real estate, economic, demographic financial and location analysis

  • Become an expert on the local economies, job and industry makeup, demographics and local company growth, among other aspects of the markets so that you can tell a compelling story about each market

  • Contribute to client presentations by covering market intelligence, trends, and statistics

  • Produce location, economic, and market studies and market feasibility studies as needed

  • Use GIS mapping software to produce geographic analysis for clients including employee location maps, location maps, and site analysis maps

  • Maintain working knowledge of all internal databases, and lead regular review of statistical and descriptive information for quality control

  • Continually work to expand the flex group's capabilities by finding new resources for acquiring data or helping to developing new products

  • Develop and maintain a data base for

  • Active flex opportunities and requirements in the market

  • Large occupier workplace strategies and relevant lease expirations


  • Bachelor's Degree

Years of relevant experience

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience

Skills and knowledge

  • Demonstrated passion in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro- and macro-level market dynamics

  • Strong quantitative skillset with ability to identify new insights and trends through data analytics

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)

  • Presentation skills

  • Negotiation, Leasing and Interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Organization Skills

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Work independently or within a team

  • Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with business and clients
