As a Report Analyst you will use your analytical skills to work with business customers on their reporting needs. This includes requirement gathering, design, development, maintenance, testing, and publishing of reporting along with being a business liaison for technical resources. You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with unique and complex issues that vary from day to day. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and time management.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or relevant comparable experience

  • 2 years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development, or quality assurance experience

  • 1 years of experience formulating and executing quality assurance test plans, and familiarity with QA documentation methods, test plans, and test results

  • 1 years of SQL query writing experience

  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, and V-lookups)

  • Comfort presenting findings to team and business stakeholders as is needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Intelligence Reporting Tools Experience (QlikView, Tableau, Crystal Reports, SAP)

  • Healthcare industry or financial services industry experience

  • Intermediate level of programming knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse

  • Experience with project management best practices

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of all financial aspects of Crystal Farms. The individual will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Operations to provide analytics and insights to influence smart business decisions. In addition, this individual with play a major role in the annual planning, monthly forecasting and financial analysis in support of the business reporting, variance analysis and the development of Executive materials to communicate performance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives. Utilize ROI, trending, forecasting, regression and risk identification and mitigation tools as appropriate. * Participate and lead preparation, analysis and communication of the annual strategic planning activities including volume, revenue, selling and marketing expense assumptions. * Preparation of monthly sales forecast information including volumes, revenue and selling expenses. Includes collaboration with sales, trade, supply chain and marketing to generate accurate forecasting of current trends. * Proactively manage product margin and identify variances or trends in Income Statement and related reports * Provide analysis and support for trade funding planning and allocation * Develop analytical skills, tools and processes to keep of with the rapidly evolving Trade Spend Management * Collaborate with Marketing on new product prioritization pipeline via size-of-the prize and related analysis * P&L stewardship and capital investment analysis on new product development * Collect sales data and evaluate performance relative to sales goals and industry benchmarks while taking into consideration current internal drivers and economic conditions. * Drive innovation and standardization in reporting and forecasting processes, tools and analysis * Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analysis for core businesses as well as prospective business opportunities * Special projects and other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in finance/accounting or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, MBA preferred * 5+ years' experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting and revenue. * CPG industry and SAP experience preferred * Demonstrated senior analyst skills in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and analysis * Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects' critical path towards business deliverables, under tight deadlines.
