The Sr. Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing the technical program leadership and implementation activities to maximize the maintenance related uptime and operating efficiencies of equipment and facility assets. These activities help minimize life cycle costs and contribute to the profitability and performance of the business.
Provides technical assistance to maintenance engineers, technicians and production operations with respect to Reliability Engineering. Promotes the use of Reliability Engineering concepts and tools to the Engineering and Operations departments. Provides maintenance/engineering leadership related to reliability engineering programs in support of preventive maintenance, maintenance strategy and continuous improvement, capital project design selection, equipment standards, equipment operations and change control.
Five plus years related maintenance reliability engineering experience, project engineering and/or training associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and systems.
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
CMRP and/or CRE certification desired
Experience and understanding of industry, equipment and technology principles, theories and practices. Knowledge and experience with leadership principles and continuous improvement change implementation.
Application of Reliability Based Maintenance programs such as RCM and TPM.
Experience with Life Cycle Cost Modeling, Equipment Criticality Ranking, FMEA, PM/PdM Optimization, and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
Colleague is frequently exposed to airborne particles and must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Use of hearing and eye protection is required.
