Include rotating weekends and holiday rotations per year. Also this will be considered a bridge shift from the evening to the overnight shift.
St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking an individual to assist with clerical duties associated with keeping the department running smoothly!

What you will do:
The supervisor is responsible for monitoring key revenue metrics and implementing appropriate action plans
The individual in this role will interact with physicians, patient and other staff in coordination of quality medical care.
This position requires knowledge of front-end check-in and check-out procedures including:
Reception, insurance verification, co-pay collection and appointment/referral scheduling.
Responsible for all insurance verification, pre-certifications and authorization tracking when required by insurances.
Works closely with clinical staff to ensure timely submissions.
Develop alliance with patient billing to build processes for effective communication of authorizations and to deal with any other issues which may cause denials.
Responsible for front desk staff usage of registration tools.
Will report to supervisor any issues regarding consistent errors or nonuse of registration tools, late charges.
Attends meetings pertaining to billing and insurance needs. Works with patients on billing insurance explanation.
Educates staff and provide technical training in registration systems to IA staff.
Supports front end office operations when needed.
What you will need:
Patient billing, multiple phone line experience
Positive attitude and be self-motivated
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail, multitasking
Previous medical office experience
Computer experience required
Minimum of 3 years as Information Associate or related field
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
High School Diploma or GED

Pay Range:$17.00 - $22.40
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
