Sr Regional Marketing Manager


The Responsibilities:

  • Brand advocate for the region. Expertise on markets of importance in the region (travel required).

  • Support the Sr. Marketing Manager of the region to drive creation of the regional strategy that aligns and delivers on corporate objectives and ensure execution with excellence

  • Function as the point-of-contact to many cross-functional teams in the region (Sales: area marketing directors, account managers, events managers, multi-store owners & store managers) and at corporate headquarters (advertising, web/direct channels, public relations, merchandising, events, social)

  • Prepare leadership reports on all on-going marketing efforts in the region

  • Research, analysis & insights on what works in a given market (brand awareness, customer perception, traffic & sales results)

  • Utilize T-Mobile performance dashboards, programs such as Tableau and custom Excel databases to uncover opportunities and assess effectiveness of programs

  • Comfortable navigating and applying data such as market demographics, advertising effectiveness, industry trends, sales analysis to inform plans

  • Proactively provide ideas and feedback to the Sr. Marketing Manager in order to grow the business from a grass roots approach by maximizing local market knowledge and competitive advantages

The Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • 7-10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2C technology markets, with progressive growth and demonstrable experience in implementing successful field marketing plans

  • Deep understanding of modern demand generation activities and channels (including segment marketing, demand creation, event management, campaign execution, social media, display advertising, etc.) and experience with the modern marketing technology stack

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing the effectiveness of marketing programs on key metrics (ROI, customer acquisition and retention, etc.)

  • Proven business judgement, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to frame problems and effectively communicate with both executive and peer audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with high attention to detail

  • Proven capabilities: effectively manage change; influence without direct authority; operate with transparency and humility; strong learning agility that cultivates and enables breakthrough thinking to drive growth

The Marketing Program Manager 1 (MPM1), will report into the Integrated Marketing Operations Campaign Coordination Team and will play an integral role supporting a variety of digital marketing campaigns. They will be a leading participant in the overall campaign support process by managing the end-to-end completion of digital marketing campaigns, including facilitating campaign kick-off meetings, schedule creation, deliverables tracking, compliance approval routing, team coordination, issue tracking and resolution and communications. The MPM1 will partner closely with Integrated Marketing Campaign Managers, In-House Creative Development Agency, Integrated Marketing Optimization, Marketing Execution and various vendors, to maintain existing processes and be called on to assist with ongoing optimization and efficiency opportunities. This role requires the ability to quickly assess situational needs and determine solutions and or resolutions to internal and external barriers in a timely manner. In order to be successful, the MPM will be expected to understand underlying marketing program/campaign business objectives, as well as, provide guidance to internal and external partners, in order to effectively represent the business context of the program and process. Key Responsibilities Include: * Manage and coordinate timelines, arrange kick-off meetings and create calendars for assigned projects, assigning tasks, tracking deliverables and ensuring adherence to set schedules. * Effectively interface with Marketing Managers, Channel Execution Teams, Legal and Compliance, Lines of Business, and agency groups for creative development, approval, and upload process. * Ensure adherence to all SLAs, processes and schedules across the end-to-end execution process, as well as, develop & maintain support tools and provide guidance to various business partners. * Proactively identify project/production issues, triage, provide guidance and identify potential solutions in order to avoid campaign delays. * Leverage business partner relationships to identify, recommend and implement ongoing process improvements for planning, prioritization, creative development and execution. * Prepare and complete accurate email campaign documents for submission to 3rd party Email Service Providers, routing of test messages to LOBs for input and approval, and extensive QA of test messages. * Partners effectively with one or more Marketing Manager to build understanding of marketing plans, strategies, priorities and lines of business relationship dynamics. * Develops strong partnerships with the Marketing Program Managers, Marketing Managers, Execution teams and Compliance teams, providing guidance and insight as needed, to foster a collaborative environment and resolve issues in a timely manner in support of campaign project management. Mitigates conflicts & balances bottlenecks, as needed; keeps work/ projects running smoothly. * Follows the defined project escalation process to ensure timely resolution of issues that impact project timing or quality. Required Qualifications * 5+ years of marketing experience Other Desired Qualifications * Demonstrated experience in internet-related marketing, online campaign development, execution, and tracking (utilizing banner, splash, third-party, email, etc.). * Experience leading the implementation of marketing campaigns such as advertising, promotions, direct mail, merchandising, sales and incentive design. * Proven project management experience with developing and managing timelines, schedules, deadlines and issue resolution in a complex matrixed environment. * Experience developing and coordinating execution of program communications, processes and training materials * Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across various projects with simultaneous deliverable deadlines. * Demonstrated experience defining and optimizing complex processes. * Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a broad, audience, including enterprise partners. * Experience with project management/CRM tools such as IBM IMO, Aprimo, etc * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Excel.
