Sr Regional Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

The Responsibilities:

  • Brand advocate for the region. Expertise on markets of importance in the region (travel required).

  • Support the Sr. Marketing Manager of the region to drive creation of the regional strategy that aligns and delivers on corporate objectives and ensure execution with excellence

  • Function as the point-of-contact to many cross-functional teams in the region (Sales: area marketing directors, account managers, events managers, multi-store owners & store managers) and at corporate headquarters (advertising, web/direct channels, public relations, merchandising, events, social)

  • Prepare leadership reports on all on-going marketing efforts in the region

  • Research, analysis & insights on what works in a given market (brand awareness, customer perception, traffic & sales results)

  • Utilize T-Mobile performance dashboards, programs such as Tableau and custom Excel databases to uncover opportunities and assess effectiveness of programs

  • Comfortable navigating and applying data such as market demographics, advertising effectiveness, industry trends, sales analysis to inform plans

  • Proactively provide ideas and feedback to the Sr. Marketing Manager in order to grow the business from a grass roots approach by maximizing local market knowledge and competitive advantages

The Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • 7-10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2C technology markets, with progressive growth and demonstrable experience in implementing successful field marketing plans

  • Deep understanding of modern demand generation activities and channels (including segment marketing, demand creation, event management, campaign execution, social media, display advertising, etc.) and experience with the modern marketing technology stack

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing the effectiveness of marketing programs on key metrics (ROI, customer acquisition and retention, etc.)

  • Proven business judgement, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to frame problems and effectively communicate with both executive and peer audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with high attention to detail

  • Proven capabilities: effectively manage change; influence without direct authority; operate with transparency and humility; strong learning agility that cultivates and enables breakthrough thinking to drive growth

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-13T00:00 Job Description The Senior RF Engineer will be responsible for the design and performance for our network, while supporting coverage, capacity, and performance planning with a specific focus on indoor DAS projects in strategic venues across T-Mobile's licensed coverage area. The Senior RF Engineer will develop coverage and capacity solutions to deliver superior customer experiences for a variety of locations such as sports venues, shopping malls, hospitality and convention centers, hospitals, universities, office spaces, and transit systems. Tasks will include site/venue assessment, gathering of engineering requirements, RF design, technology selection, implementation, integration, and optimization. The Senior RF Engineer will interface with local, regional and national engineering teams, field operations, third party DAS providers, development teams, and venue owners. This position leads projects and initiatives and will also perform mentoring duties to other Market RF Engineers. Responsibilities * Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership. * Develop end to end DAS and Small Cell Solutions * Perform site surveys to evaluate location and identify requirements for system design, including RF data collection * Model indoor propagation and capacity to determine antenna placement and equipment needs * Apply link budget analysis, macro design, design standards, traffic analysis * Understand and apply requirements for multiple operator systems * Develop system equipment and materials list * Review and approve final RF design construction documents * Assist with system deployment and commissioning as necessary * Document system installation and update internal database * Collect data for post deployment acceptance testing to ensure requirements are met and the system integrates with the macro network * Leads efforts to establish design standards in conjunction with national and regional engineering and development teams and ensure standards are implemented on a site-by-site basis. * Mentor engineering and technical staff, as well as develop and deliver training materials. * Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed * Assist with the oversight of the installation of T-Mobile radio sources, providing guidance to construction crews as needed. * Review and approve PIM Test, Coax Sweep Test and Fiber Sweep Tests * Validate radio source installation and passive connectivity from radios to DAS demark using RFDS, iBwave and construction drawings * Validate labeling of headend cabling accuracy * Assist with troubleshooting of DAS and Small Cell systems * Troubleshoot alarms or performance issues at existing systems. Qualifications Minimum required: At least 6-10 years of wireless telecommunications and RF engineering design and deployment experience in an Ericsson environment, ideally with UMTS and LTE technologies At least 3 years of experience performing DAS or Small Cell System design, implementation, performance management, optimization, and troubleshooting of the Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, Voice Over LTE (VOLTE), SRVCC (Single Radio Voice Call Continuity), and the UMTS HSPA network. Solid understanding of (through coursework and/or experience) current wireless technologies, e.g. UMTS and LTE, including link budgets, relevant switch parameters, time delay considerations, and KPIs Understanding of RF propagation and tools. At least 4 years of experience performing desktop designs, preferably for indoor networks and 2 years of experience using iBwave propagation tool Ability to compare different products' technical specifications and determine most cost effective solution for the location Two years previous experience training and mentoring others. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally. Ability to investigate and solve complex problems and implement related work improvements with cross functional team members. Proven ability to manage and prioritize assigned tasks in order to meet deadlines while also highlighting risks and implementing contingency plans.
