Briebug seeks an experienced React Software Engineer to join our growing team in delivering unmatched value to projects and people. An exciting variety of opportunities exist to help deliver applications by bridging the gap from idea to implementation. This position has the ability to influence front end development best practices within the organization and contribute to internal training material.

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities

Work closely with other engineers to pioneer and spearhead front end technologies
Create reusable, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions
Mentor and motivate others around you with your passion and expertise
Collaborate with product owners and other engineers on building high quality, new features
Capable of owning projects through design, implementation, and deployment
Able to prioritize and work independently

Minimum Qualifications

Extensive knowledge and experience with React and its core principles
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Experience with CSS in JS solutions such as Styled Components or Emotion
Thorough experience building performant React Native applications
Solid understanding of React best practices, style guide, testing, and component architecture
Expert in front end web development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and web APIs
Confident working with modern development tools such as Git, Babel/Webpack, NPM, etc
Thorough knowledge of TypeScript
Experience working with Node.js or another back end language
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong communication skills to interface with product owners, stakeholders and team members
A strong desire to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Thorough knowledge and experience with Angular (version 8 or greater) or willing to learn
Experience with .NET, Java, NestJS or similar technologies
Solid understanding of reactive programming and RxJS
Solid understanding of functional programming
Familiarity with modern front end build pipelines and tools
Experience with Ionic

Experience with NgRx, Nx workspace, Cypress

Your Opportunity The Mobile Instrumentation team at New Relic builds instrumentation libraries that mobile developers use to better observe the apps they create. We're mobile developers, but we don't build apps. Instead, we're experts in mobile language and technology ecosystems. We use this knowledge to build tools and SDKs that instrument mobile applications. Our products send telemetry and mobile data back to New Relic to be enhanced, analyzed and visualized to help app developers troubleshoot their apps, be alerted to errors, and improve performance. We need your help to develop new hybrid framework products built to enable observability within cross platform environments like React Native and Flutter. You'll help architect and build these new offerings from the ground up and launch them into the market. And everything you develop will be released as Open Source. We're starting with React Native! What You'll Do Join us in building a new generation of mobile observability offerings! Our products will be built using open standards wherever possible. You'll build tools mobile developers will rely on and create efficient protocols and networking capabilities to communicate telemetry to ingest backends so it can be quickly processed and acted upon by our users.
