Summary:

We are looking for a versatile leader that can interpret customer and regulatory requirements and provide the necessary leadership to ensure the site meets its' quality and business objectives. The position will require a balancing of delegation and hands-on participation as determined by the team members' experience levels and training. The role of a Principal Quality Engineer requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. Acting as the subject matter expert on quality-related matters and provide guidance and support to stakeholders within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be the Prime Quality Representative in ensuring the Entegris products and process meet established quality standards.

• Understand customer and regulatory requirements and work cross-functionally to build quality into products, processes, and procedures.

• Implementing and enforcing our quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (ISO 9001, IECEx, ASME, PED, etc.).

• Develop solutions to complex problems that enhance our data-drive and risk-based thinking culture.

• Mentor and Coach quality engineers and other team members to develop their skills and subject knowledge.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the product development lifecycle.

• Provide leadership to the Change Control Management Board (CCMB) - establish continuity and ownership to ensure changes are made methodically in support of our quality requirements, with subject matter experts' input.

• Develop Verification & Qualification (V&Q) requirements to ensure customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities are aligned.

• Support and participate in a Continuous Improvement environment, always ensuring the highest standards are maintained.

• Support Process Improvements to always ensure they are robust, efficient, and the highest standards are maintained.

• Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Analyze data and conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.

Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Physical Requirements):

• Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

• Minimal 6 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a significant amount of that time successfully leading quality and / or continuous improvement related initiatives.

• The ability to analyze requirements and prioritize actions in support of the objectives

• A collaborative leader that inspires cross-functional teams, prioritizing and driving for execution

• Can take on assignments with broad objectives where guidance is provided on critical issues only

• Demonstrated application of risk-based thinking and root cause analysis
