As a Senior Quality Control technician you will resolve most questions and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher levels with thorough understanding of appropriate procedures. You should show strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment learning and developing professional expertise.

Applies company policy and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on projects of limited to moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization. May adapt procedures, processes, tools equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks.

The opportunity:

• Perform analyses of raw materials, packaging materials and bulk, intermediate and finished product from other sections of quality control or performs investigations according to established procedures to determine conformance to acceptance specifications.

• Compiles data for documentation of test procedures that may include biochemical and chemical assays, stability program testing and formulation studies. Reviews data acquired for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.

• Calibrates and maintains lab equipment as needed.

• Participates in the preparation of investigations, summaries and reports. Revises and updates standard operating procedures as needed.

• May develop testing methods and perform special projects on analytical and instrument problem solving.

Requirements:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in scientific or technical field with 1 years related experience or Associate's degree in scientific or technical field with 3 years of related experience

• Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field (preferred)

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is 47,300.00 - 87,900.00 USD Annual . Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
