We are seeking a successful candidate to support full-cycle Quality Engineering functions at the Redstone Missile Integration Facility. The ideal candidate will provide required Quality Engineering support to a cross-functional support team to ensure compliance and meet contractual requirements.
The Sr Quality EngineerI (QE) will perform with minimal supervision, and will support development of quality measurements, and influence the successful completion of supported programs and projects at EO Innovations.
The QE will interact with operations, engineering and inspection personnel through both written and verbal communication. The ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter and make enhancements to EOI processes and procedures. The Operations Quality Engineer will work within integrated teams to analyze, control and improve product quality in the internal functional areas.
Note: This position can be a Sr. Quality Assurance EngineerIIor Sr. Quality Assurance EngineerIIbased on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
Four (4) years related Manufacturing, Aerospace, Quality, or relevant Engineering experience
Experience in supporting manufacturing processes; mainly optical components and metal fabrication
Demonstrated ability to understand contracts, PO Review process, Supplier requirements, technical drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials, consumable materials control, process disciplines and tool control
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional product teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and implement robust process controls and lead improvement teams
Ability to obtain secret clearance
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematic
Six (6) yearsrelated Manufacturing, Aerospace, Quality, or relevant Engineering experience
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and mentoring peers and direct reports with success collaborating with program team members to develop practical solutions to complex problems
Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102 & Mission Assurance Provisions
Experience working with external suppliers and inspection techniques
Hands on use of statistical process control implementation for process monitoring, qualification and/or design feedback
Experience with Six Sigma methodology and tools such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
Experience in development/usage of Quality metrics and the identification/institution of perceptive verifications (FPY, CoPQ, SPC)
RSix Sigma Specialist or Industry Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
