Sr Quality Analyst

Provide Quality Management System audit support for Honeywell Aerospace at the Olathe, Kansas site. The Quality Systems Auditor is responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Ensures that quality standards and procedures are aligned with customer and company requirements. Performs a wide variety of activities pertaining to assuring compliance to the Quality Management System by conducting audits, inspections and documentation reviews.

  • Be part of the Quality team that provides their expertise and ensures that the customer receives products that meet their expectations

  • Drive continuous improvements in support of the Honeywell Operating System

  • Recommend and implement improvements that help deliver the best timely solutions resulting in the highest level of customer satisfaction

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years' experience auditing within a Quality Organization


  • Advanced Degree

  • Experience with the aerospace industry, products, customers and regulatory environment

  • Quality Management System ownership including internal and external audits.

  • AS9100 or ISO9000 experience

  • Experience in quality control and manufacturing environment

  • Performs facility audits to ensure departmental compliance with the regulations.

  • Prepares, issues, and tracks reports of observations noted during audits and inspections

  • Assists in scheduling audits and assigning resources to projects.

  • Coordinates auditing activities and implements auditing systems to ensure compliance

  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities

  • Support customer objectives in External Customer facing role as facilitator of On Site Customer audits.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups and work with all levels of internal and external customers

  • Results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft product suite

  • Solid understanding of Quality improvement principles, RCCA and Six Sigma
