Zurich's Risk Engineering Property East Team is seeking a SrRisk Engineering with large property highly protected risk (HPR) experience. Thisrole includes account engineering responsibilities. This is a work from homerole, ideally positioned within the New York City area, will also consider alocation within the greater NY/NJ area. This role includes a company car withexpected travel at 15-20% travel.

Our Sr Risk Engineering Consultant is responsible forproviding:

  • Manage account risk portfolio and provide account level engineering to meet underwriting requirements.

  • Developing and implementing customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operations.

  • Provide engineering support to underwriting team by attending client broker meetings

  • Monitor property account engineering services to ensure that delivery is proper, on-time, and cost effective.

  • Perform field engineering services where necessary, primarily for larger location on accounts and/or prospects within the region.

  • Advanced property consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and property management programs

  • Assist in marketing Zurich risk transfer insurance products in conjunction with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segments.

Final candidates will be subject to a Motor VehicleRecord background check as this position includes a company car.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineeringarea


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the

Risk Engineering area


  • Experience working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or relateddegree

  • HPR Property experience

  • Account Executive & Loss control/Risk Engineeringexperience within the insurance industry

  • Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)

  • Strong communication and consultative skills

  • Outstanding collaborative skills

  • History of working successfully in a team environment

  • High degree of proficiency related to PC and Software orsystems

Key Responsibilities * Drive the vision and strategy for the development and delivery of Intapp's GRC solution in the Accounting and Financial Services markets. * Act as subject matter expert and advise various internal, partner, and customer teams on the needs and requirements of the target markets. * Incorporate innovative technologies, such as AI, Machine Learning and Analytics, into the solution to differentiate it within the market and increase overall value. * Identify requirements and objectives of Intapp's GRC solution. * Lead requirement discovery sessions with clients and prospects. * Prioritize use cases, product messaging and themes for development. * Work with Product Marketing to articulate value proposition of Intapp's GRC offering, and to develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, coordinating across all departments * Collaborate with the sales and go-to-market teams to drive the field and customer engagement plans, including early adopter programs * Communicate, influence and work with Executives, both inside and outside of Intapp, to explain the strategy and make sure that the Intapp solutions meet their needs. * Work directly with the Product Management and Engineering leads to plan and execute the product roadmap. * Help set strategy for technology and implementation partnerships Qualifications: * BSEE/CS or equivalent plus 5-10 years related experience in product management. MBA or advanced degree preferred. * Experience managing and/or developing products directly relevant to the Accounting and Financial Services industries. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to explain software to non-technical users. * Experience working on projects/programs implementing software and process solutions in a high-performance scrum development environment.
