The Senior Property Analyst is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, issuing, auditing, dispositioning, analyzing and maintaining government property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Develops and maintains GFP policy, procedures, work instructions.
Receives, inspects and identifies customer/government furnished property.
Manages property issued in support of labs, production areas using multiple databases
Responsible for ensuring customer/government property is properly identified and packaged.
Maintains records of materials received, disbursed and on hand.
Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and record integrity.
Audits all physical inventories and monitors all inventory transactions and records.
Monitors property handling practices throughout the company to ensure proper use and care of customer/government property.
Develop and implement data analysis tools/techniques to effectively determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies
Understand and execute tactical daily functions while identifying and addressing continuous improvement activities
Checks shipping documents of customer/government property for completeness and accuracy.
Assists internal and external customers with inventory verifications.
Maintains Government Property in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
May move material by hand and/or truck.
May be required to transport material between buildings.
Manage corrective actions and drive them to completion.
Weekly walk through labs to identify potential Government Property.
Work with expiring contracts to ensure all material is transferred or dispositioned.
Support various audits and be able to coordinate with auditors.
Ability to work and drive change in a team environment
Ability to analyze data in multiple databases to research information
Displays effective oral and written communication skills (Experience communicating with Management/Sr. Management a plus)
Requires strong knowledge of PC software including Microsoft office application, email, internet research (Familiarity with Oracle and COLTS a plus)
Practices good safety habits and maintains good housekeeping.
Performs other clerical or material handling duties as required.

Education & Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience in Government Material Handling, Supply Chain, or related field.
Must have or must be eligible to obtain DOD Secret Clearance
High School diploma required. Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience preferred.
NPMA certification or willingness to prepare for and achieve certification in 1 year.
