The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for working the business counterparts to define and document system requirements and develop comprehensive measurement programs that deliver meaningful metrics and actionable insights/recommendations in regards to the Adobe Analytics (a subset of Adobe Experience Cloud) toolset. Other responsibilities will include implementation design sessions, reviewing documentation with key stakeholders, testing requirements for proper functionality (both at a tag/code level and variable administration level), and analyzing web analytics data while presenting key findings to business owners. In addition, this person will be responsible for training other groups within the organization on how to use the self-service portion of the toolset, assisting with the administration, and building summary level dashboards for executive leadership when needed.


  • Lead activities with the business counterparts and 3rd party vendors to define key performance indicators (KPl's)/business goals and translate into reporting requirements (at both system and functional levels).

  • Drive implementation insights specific to Adobe Analytics that optimizes the reporting system to its fullest extent.

  • Forecast server call impacts on changes to the system.

  • Lead review sessions specific to documentation created with business counterparts, users, analysts, developers, and testers.

  • Test requirements to ensure they are functioning as designed in the system.

  • Analyze data and provide performance updates based upon business cases that drove requirements.

  • Support ad-hoc analytical/reporting requests from business units.

  • Provide training where needed across the enterprise to educate the masses on self-service features specific to the in house web analytics toolset.

  • Work with field, internal users, and senior management to understand needs and develop plans for meeting those needs.

  • Develop process and data models using modeling and process tools.

  • Prioritize system and data functionality requirements based on user needs, business analysis, and project constraints.

  • Work with users, senior management, and technical team to produce project charters, scope documents and conceptual design charts.

  • Work with vendors and vendor packages to ensure that system requirements are understood.

  • Coordinate pilot and roll out planning, user enhancement requests and defect tracking for large scope projects.

  • Develop presentation materials and conduct presentations to users as well as senior management.

  • Train and mentor less experienced analysts on systems functionality.


Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business management, systems development or related area or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience.

  • Three to five years experience using and running reports out of a web analytics solution (Omniture SiteCatalyst, Adobe Analytics, CoreMetrics, WebTrends, Unica, Google Analytics, etc).

  • Previous experience implementing Omniture SiteCatalyst/Adobe Anlatyics across large organizations.

  • Five to seven years experience as a business analyst and/or project manager in an information technology environment.

  • Mid- level knowledge of search engine management (SEM), pay per click (PPC), and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies work.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript code and how it works.

  • Experience with tag management solutions and implementing both 1st & 3rd party tags

  • Experience working in an e-commerce/web environment.

  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Knowledge of the systems development life cycle or agile methodologies.

  • Project management skills - able to manage multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.

In this role, you will sell GE's Lentronics and MDS solutions, as well as develop, maintain, and grow channel partnerships. Location covered will be the Midwest USA.
