As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take the lead as you manage technology projects directly related to Target's strategic priorities. See your efforts come to fruition in Target Stores, Distribution Centers, and Headquarters locations by assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. Use your strong analytical skills to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget while communicating milestones and risks to business partners and technology product owners. About Target Technology Services R&D Smartsheets

Our R&D team uses Smartsheet as a collaboration and work management tool. It is used to manage projects, assign tasks, track key dates and milestones, share documents, and manage other work across the team. All projects are tracked using R&D templates that are part of cross functional reporting system. This integrated structure allows Target to collaborate with vendors and external partners. Included are several automated workflows with alerts to stakeholders. Project metrics and other important data can be found on dashboards also known as portals.

Smartsheet Strategy

Create visibility to accurate project information driving clear communication and a culture of accountability making it easy to make better decisions, faster. Governance is created by the Primary Smartsheet Admin and upheld by the ambassadors.


Primary Smartsheet Admin

Responsibilities:
  • Hold monthly meetings with Smartsheet ambassadors

  • Hold weekly open office hours to support the team (10 hours)

  • Manages team metric sheets and portals

  • Manages vendor portals adding new projects and metrics.

  • Create New project Sheets when notified by project intake

  • Add project to metric sheets for R&D and Vendors

  • Standards and Compliance for Ball Workspace

  • Monthly Archive of Ball Workspace, TVS Workspace, & Vendor Workspaces

  • Documentation, Training Materials and Smartsheet Playbook

  • Conduct monthly audit to ensure teams/vendors are within compliance, links are working, etc.

  • Maintains and prioritizes Smartsheet requests and backlog

  • Provide Smartsheet Training and Team Support

  • Responsible for providing governance training and general training for use and navigation, and expectations to vendors. Project teams are responsible for going into detail on how the team utilizes the sheet.

  • Onboard new users to Ball workspace.

  • Create new workspaces for vendors as needed. Following the standard set up and folder structure.

  • Create new group for vendors as needed.

  • Manage Smartsheet Access Request Log and Update Internally

  • Identify and prioritize to improve workspace, process efficiencies, automation, etc using Smartsheet

  • Dedicate time to build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Conduct Quarterly Vendor Meetings to receive feedback

  • Work closely with the software engineering team. Hold a weekly status.

About you:

  • Project coordinator/manager: 3-5 years

  • SmartSheet experience

  • Technical acumen to research/design Smartsheet to meet PM needs

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Works independently and works well within a team

  • Detail oriented; strong organizational and analytical skills

  • High degree of professionalism and high sensitivity for confidentiality

  • Ability to complete assignments accurately and on-time

  • Ability to follow documented and oral instructions and directions

  • Ability to learn and apply the new knowledge and skills quickly

  • Ability to apply logical thinking to complete tasks without errors

You will leverage and build storytelling skills to educate business partners, both internal and external, on key risks and impacts related to inventory given Target's evolving process and technology landscape.
