Project Manager who has a track record of successfully driving teams to execute milestones

Excellent communication skills

Experience in ESB integration management experience is a plus.

Experience in installing and integrating vendor banking applications.

Experience in Agile or waterfall.

Financial services / Banking Sector background or experience in managing integration projects

Experience in managing all the IT work stream (including Vendor deliverables and internal development).

Experience in managing meetings, project plans, action logs, and reporting status to the program manager.

Experience with with generic PM role would be good ...( build / test / integrate )

This person will be responsible for handling projects from conception to completion: check specs against drawings with the Designer, coordinate the order entry activities and delivery schedules with Sales, CSR, Designer, Customer, Installation Supervisor, building contractor, and furniture manufacturer to ensure a successful installation. This position requires extensive knowledge of the office furniture industry and excellent organizational and communication (oral and written) skills.</p><p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain a project schedule outlining deadlines for specifications, construction, order entry, delivery, installation, and move.</p></li><li><p>Monitor shipping schedules, scheduling receipt and installation with the Installation Supervisor, Customer, and Salesperson.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that installation drawings are accurate and complete; and, that any additional information required for installation is submitted to the Installation Supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with the Installation Supervisor, Designer, Salesperson, and CSR.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with outside contractors (i.e.: telephone, cable, electricians) and inform them of installation methods within the furniture systems.</p></li><li><p>Conduct a punch list walk-through with the customer and attain a signature on outstanding issues.</p></li><li><p>Pre-schedule punch list and work with Scheduler, order replacement parts, contact the customer on the status and ensure proper follow-through.</p></li><li><p>Participate in weekly project status update meetings with CSRs and Sales.</p></li><li><p>Provide weekly project status updates to the Vice President of Operations.</p></li></ul><p>Other Duties</p><ul><li><p>Be available for on-site coordination and resolution of any issues at the time of installation.</p></li><li><p>Schedule any off-site storage facilities if required.</p></li><li><p>Inventory existing furniture to be incorporated into a new layout; tag said existing furniture for installation purposes.</p></li><li><p>Develop a tagging system for new orders that will ensure proper location of product into the building.</p></li><li><p>Inventory and determine the disposition of any extra furniture.</p></li><li><p>Provides technical support to and receives project information from Sales.</p></li><li><p>Participate in the monthly Project Manager Team meeting.</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Operations.</p></li></ul><p>Education and/or Experience</p><ul><li><p>Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred</p></li><li><p>At least 5 years experience related to office furniture.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.</p></li><li><p>Installation of office furniture project management experience is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Valid NC driver's license required.</p></li><li><p>Overtime nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.</p></li></ul><p>Our Benefits:</p><ul><li><p>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision</p></li><li><p>401K with match potential</p></li><li><p>Maternity and Paternity leave</p></li><li><p>2 weeks of PTO</p></li><li><p>Work / Life Balance</p></li></ul><p>Do What's Right, Do Your Best, Treat Others As You Would Like to be Treated.</p><br> Storr Office Environments Raleigh NC
