Job Description:

Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager of Quality Excellence will lead cross functional project team(s) focused on Global Quality System Harmonization, divestitures and acquisitions, global quality projects, cross-functional quality and business process improvement, and integrating lean and best practices within the QARA organization. Leading role in determining project scope, goal, and deliverables, identifies tasks, resources required and project plans with guidance from management. Proactive in identifying budget, risks and resources needed to implement project. Track project to completion and ensure compliance with key quality standards and regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, objectives and deliverables with management, supporting business strategies

  • Define project tasks and resource requirements, working with management to identify key contributors and skill sets

  • Schedules, facilitates and documents meeting minutes and action items of project core team meetings

  • Plan and schedule project timelines, track project deliverables using existing or developing new tools and methods as required

  • Assists in managing project budget, identifying required travel, contract resources, licenses, fees associated with the project and timing of accruing these expenses

  • Identify & escalate changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Provide direction and support to project team and encouraging team work and a positive atmosphere

  • Ensure all activities are performed meeting current quality standards and regulations

  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders, identifying risks and steps for mitigation; eliminating issues or delays as appropriate

  • Identify and implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs within required timelines.

  • Lead project evaluations and assessment of results; identify lessons learned once the project is complete; communicate best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree engineering or related field; Master's or advanced degree preferred

  • 5+ years of project management experience; 3+ years of medical device experience

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence and lead others

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Quality Systems and current standards or regulations including QSR and ISO 13485:2016

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Travel required - 25% - both domestic and international

What is a Store Driver? Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role has the responsibility to deliver parts to our commercial customers and assist with task and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part time or full time and must be fleet safety certified.
