  • We are currently hiring multiple Project Managers and Sr Project Managers in the Eastern and Central US within Microsoft Enterprise Services

We are looking for Delivery Project Managers (PjMs) who demonstrate a mix of skills in project management, technology, and strategic business acumen. The role requires both deep project management experience in a consulting organization, and the ability to facilitate the deployment of solutions by mapping customer business problems to reusable end-to-end technology solutions.

PjMs are key enablers for Microsoft consultants and partner staff. They manage the complete lifecycle of large and complex projects and have a passion for customers that is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level business and technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and end-to-end Microsoft technology projects is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related program/project management experience

  • Competency in Project Management, Change Management, Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology Expertise, Strategic Insight

  • PMP certified or have experience managing with the PMI methods.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience managing offshore teams is also preferred.

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience

  • Azure delivery experience, preferred

  • Some vertical industry experience preferred (healthcare, financial, manufacturing, construction, education)

Location/Travel: You will be based in the Eastern or Central region of the United States. Travel is an integral part of the work with our customers and can be expected 50-75%. A flexible schedule including remote work may be possible for project calls and meetings in varying engagements.

  • Demonstrate the ability to track progress against the Master Program Plan, and the Program Communications Plan in order to identify gain or slippage achieved against overall timescales and ensure that these are communicated to the client and internally within Microsoft.

  • Develop contingency plans to provide an alternative method of keeping the program on track in the event of a delay to one of the projects
