Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Sr Project Manager
IT is to lead diverse teams across the global organization to deliver projects that meet business customer expectations and align with enterprise technology strategies. A strong understanding of the technology landscape and industry acumen is necessary to effectively analyze business requirements, workflows, and best practices in collaboration with enterprise architects, application developers, consultants, and vendors. Proficient and concurrent management of diverse projects, ranging from system implementations to organizational efficiency initiatives to business development opportunities, is required. IT must be able to develop comprehensive requirements documents, define scope in the form of project charters, create detailed project plans / schedules, identify, and mitigate risks / issues and lead a cross-functional team to deliver the project scope. The ability to professionally engage and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including C-level executives, is a fundamental requirement for this position.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp. policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Own the project through its lifecycle from identification of business need through project closure
Lead project teams to deliver successful projects by effectively managing budget, scope, schedule, and stakeholder communications
Create and maintain project artifacts including but not limited to charter, funding requests, business requirements, schedules, and status updates
Identify, manage, control, and communicate scope changes through established change management processes
Evaluate commercial products against business, technical and resource requirements; determine investment feasibility
Proactively detect, mitigate, and resolve issues and risks; escalate when necessary
Execute multiple projects simultaneously without compromise to standards and excellence
Communicate effectively in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment with technical and non-technical teams and executives to drive IT strategy and achieve organizational objectives
Validate deliverables meet organizational and customer scope and quality expectations
Identify opportunities for execution and process improvement, including policy, standard, and guideline recommendations
Create and maintain reporting information in graphical forms including using modeling languages, process flows, and topology diagrams, etc.
Facilitate resolution of audit findings and monitor cyber risk assessment plans
Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and commercial partners

Minimum Qualifications
At least 21 years of age
Authorized to work in the United States
8 years of IT industry or equivalent technical experience (e.g., engineering, software development, networking, etc.)
8-10 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 5 years managing technology projects
Bachelor's degree preferred
Advanced understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint; Waterfall, Agile, Project Success, etc.)
Experienced with technology infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, Wi-Fi, telephony as well as end user computing technologies
Familiar with cyber security technologies and solutions
Familiar with end user solutions including identity management and user authentication
Familiar with cloud platform services and their orchestration including, but not limited to, Alibaba, Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Experience implementing identity strategies and application integrations including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
Familiar with compliance and privacy regulations such as: PCI, GLBA, SOX, GDPR, Basel III, HIPPA, COPPA, FCRA
Professional certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL) beneficial
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues of diverse backgrounds and levels of experience
Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Able to travel to international locations for extended periods
Maintain composure under pressure
Consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts

Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
