North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a permanent, full-time Sr. Project Manager to join our team in Pinson/Birmingham, AL.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be to:

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of industrial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project milestones are met.

• Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasting, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.

• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

• Foster effective communication among project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

• Mentor and coach junior project management staff, contributing to their professional growth and development.

• Prepare and present project status reports and presentations to all stakeholders.

• Must be willing to travel. This position is up to 70% travel.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering industrial construction projects, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager. No residential candidates, please.

• Strong knowledge of industrial construction methodologies, project management techniques, and industry best practices.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional project teams.

• Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.

• CMP or PMP certification is a plus.

• Applicant must live in or be willing to relocate to Birmingham, Alabama area.
