What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities:

Prepare bids, budgets and respond to formal RFPs for clients including bid leveling and technical writing capabilities
Lead interviews to secure new work
Lead pricing, value engineering, site selection investigations and building assessments
Develop site logistics plans
Create detailed project schedules in conjunction with superintendents
Serve as the client point of contact, establishing and maintaining relationships
Identify high risk contract provisions and implement practices to mitigate risk
Oversee procurement, cost and change management during project
Lead weekly project meetings with client and subcontractors
Manage punch list and oversee project closeout
Manage all aspects of project accounting, financial projections and reporting, and AR collections
What You Need for this Position

7-10 yrs of construction experience including 5 years as a Project Manager in GC Commercial Interiors
5-10 years experience supervising and managing personnel including superintendents and project support staff
Proven leadership skills
Experience managing large, complex and/or multiple jobs at one time
Graduation from an accredited four-year college with major coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field preferred
LEED accreditation preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Procore, Timberline, PlanGrid, BlueBeam and PlanGrid
Extensive project estimating and scheduling experience
Strong understanding of building site work, structures, finishes, envelope and mechanical and electrical systems acquired through a diversified portfolio of projects
Substantial knowledge of prime contract terms and conditions, and the ability to read and write subcontract agreements
Development of client relationships, sales/business development for new opportunities with the expectation to both sell and deliver work
Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas effectively during client interviews and meetings

The Supply Chain Project Manager will manage and lead critical projects and initiatives within the Supply Chain, Operations department. This individual must be a culture fit, someone who shares our corporate and worldwide Operations philosophy. The Supply Chain Project Manager will interface and lead critical/complex projects associated to but not limited to Supply Base Management, Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Manufacturing, Supply Chain Cost, Supplier Chain Security/Risk/Compliance and Service & Repair. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams that include Engineering, Technical Ops, Product Management, Sales, Order Fulfillment, IT, Procurement, Finance and Global Customer Support. The perfect candidate will have a wide range of supply chain business experience, self-motivated and have the ability to navigate through all corporate layers. This position reports to the VP, Supply Chain Operations & Procurement and is based at our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Management * Flexibility to work on multiple priorities, achieve goals in a fast-paced, startup environment with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances * Identify, organize, manage, and escalate project milestones to achieve successful launches, realistic timelines * Demonstrated ability in problem solving, influence, mobilize stakeholders, critical thinking, and verbal/written communication * Ensure cross functional partners are on track with deadlines by proactively communicating and following up on action items * Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization * Has shown the ability to successfully act as the single point of contact for assigned projects & initiatives * Lead internal (and external) cross-functional status reviews that track progress/impact + written updates * Lead and drive complex projects, implement rapid solutions and work successfully cross-functional to exceed corporate objectives * Drive initiatives with cross-functional teams and organizationally that contributes to long-term operational excellence * Successfully managed both complex SAAS and Hardware projects with aggressive and dynamic launch schedules Supply Chain * Strong experience in supply chain functions that include but not limited to; supply chain security, supply chain compliance, supply chain risk, materials, planning, supplier management, service/repair and new product introduction. * Experience working directly with Contract Manufacturers and Original Design Manufactures to establish best practice or best in class approaches * Experience in establishing or maintaining supply chain security/risk/compliant programs * Experience in partnering with internal and external strategic partners on improving processes, infrastructure and footprints to improve cost targets * Basic understanding of cost of goods sold, transformation structures and key product cost drivers with cost avoidance activities * Experience in hardware launches, process optimization, value engineering that would improve ROI and cost elements REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience plus 10+ years of combined supply chain and project management * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * M&A experience a plus * Familiar with traditional and current supply chain tools, that include SAP, Arena, Ariba, and other analytic tools * Proficient in Microsoft office (including Excel, Project, Word and Power Point) Palo Alto Networks is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a team culture that celebrates Inclusion & Diversity.
