What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC's team, the Senior Project Manager will be a seasoned expert responsible for the delivery of highly complex projects from end to end including initiation, requirement gathering, design, construction, testing, implementation and closure. The role works with minimal direction on complex projects, providing expert level knowledge of project management principles, standards, and business consulting through considerable project delivery experience. The Senior Project Manager uses significant latitude to control projects, conduct status reviews, provide business guidance, identify any deviations to the project plan, and recommend corrective action to mitigate potential issues. The role analyzes situations and data to prepare and deliver executive level presentations to keep management informed of project status, changes, and milestone achievements.

How you'll succeed
Who you are
You have 5-10 years' experience in Project Management. You can demonstrate a deep understanding of the practices, procedures, and principles required to successfully deliver large projects, from planning to implementation. Ability to analyze detailed concepts, quickly resolve project issues, and assess the advantages and disadvantages of solutions
You have a degree/diploma in a related field of study. It's an asset if you have your PMP designation.
