An international firm is looking for a senior level Architectural Project Designer (10+ years) with a focus on Commercial Office Buildings (COBD). They are looking for a key player and leader who can develop relationships, lead design teams and further develop an architectural practice in our office. Exceptional design skills, a portfolio of innovative design concepts, and an emphasis on built work are desired.

What You Will Do

Design and plan complex architectural projects of varying types

Manage multiple aspects of client, project coordination, and general contractors including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants

Manage client relationships and team communication

Resolve complex technical and design issues

Maintain the project manual and specifications

Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews

Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction

Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project

Your Qualifications

Advanced degree in Architecture or Design preferred, with a rigorous design education

10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale

Registered Architect preferred

Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and 3ds Max

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Outstanding graphic presentation skills

Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituents

Proven ability to lead and direct design teams and projects

Desire to mentor and grow less experienced staff

Job Summary: As a Sr. Project Manager you will be contributing to Nestle Coffee Partners success by managing the development and implementation of large and highly- complex programs or processes that improve profitability, reduce costs, strmline operations or enhance customer service. You will be applying project management tools and skills to ensure the timely launch and successful execution of complex I&R projects from concept to delivery (i.e. breakthrough innovation, complicated renovations, projects with minor or major investment). Activities include: * Owning the alignment of the strategy, project scope and expectations as well as approach for defining, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering the project with key partners * Identifying project resource requirements and identifying and resolving resource constraints * Building and leading the project schedule, defining the critical path, tracking activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed upon deadlines, generating and communicating status reports, and advancing critical issues. * Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk mitigation plans * Coordinating and facilitating project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, lessons learned, post launch reviews and additional meetings as required * Providing transparency and communication on project status to cross functional team members, Project Management Lead and Leadership Team Process Management: Driving proper and consistent use of the stage gate project management tool by: maintaining and ensuring data accuracy, project completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures; and continuous i Project Team Leadership: Apply leadership, coaching and influencing skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects forward, ensuring time and resources are used effectively and efficiently to meet project and business objectives.
