Amazon Advertising aims to build advertising technology capabilities that can be offered as AWS (or AWS-like) services to advertisers, agencies, publishers and ad tech companies such. The opportunities include: better serve our core advertising customers with pure tech offerings that maximize transparency, customizability and control; expand our range of advertising customers by offering core services for use by all players in the ad tech ecosystem; and drive the AWS flywheel by increasing penetration within the AWS advertising vertica and potentially by evolving toward an advertising transactional and data "fabric" that becomes the best way for these players to transact in real time and to integrate services and analytics.
As a team member of our Programmatic and Ad Technology Sales team, you will be the voice of our advertising customers. You will capture their current and future advertising technology needs, and influence our industry thinking to leverage our technology suite assets.
You will report to the Global Head of Programmatic and Adserving Sales and own specific tasks related to the definition of our advertising technology offering in concert with Product and Engineering teams. With your client-side and agency relationships, consultative approach and deep understanding of the programmatic industry, you will act as a strategic partner to assigned clients, and will become their voice to provide feedback to Sr Product stakeholders. You will work across several organizations including: Account Executives, Product Managers and Engineering, Product Marketing and Solutions Architects, Consultants, Finance, Legal.
Provide consultative services against specific tech needs to advertisers and agencies, from needs analysis, to solutions diagnosis, and tracking of roll-outs / success.
Own relationships with marketing, tech and programmatic decision makers on ad tech topics, both advertiser and agencies side.
Consolidate and prioritize customer feedback and collaborate internally with Product Management to drive scalable changes for the DSP
Cross team and crossdivision coordination
Contribute to Go-To-Market and Positioning, representing the voice of our customers
Deeply understand Amazon's core value proposition (both Ads and AWS) in order to effectively articulate that value to our clients

Experience building new customer relationships
Deep understanding of programmatic ad tech industry, and Amazon's ad technology and cloud (AWS) core values
10+ years selling advertising technology and/or cloud services
Experience leading sales for new products
Ability to effectively communicate with customers of all experiences from trading level teams to C suite personnel, as Enterprise or Media Sales
8+ years of experience delivering results in a Tech or Media sales or partnership development role at a digital ad tech company, or in a Cloud environment
Strong analytical capabilities and confidence using data sets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced degree preferred
