As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will participate in the development of space launch vehicles. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position is for the senior scheduler position for the company. This will not be a management roll. You will be primarily responsible for the administration and maintenance of our primary project scheduling software, Primavera P6 Professional Project.Will support development and maintenance of project scheduling and planning tools and processes. You will be responsible to build and train the organization on P6 and scheduling principles. In this hands-on position, your work will increase the speed and efficiency of our programs by supporting the delivery, quality and transparency of schedule and financial data. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities:

  • P6 Administration

  • Manage and monitor P6 tool administration including help-desk support

  • Manage License count based on login access.

  • Coordinate SW upgrades with Enterprise Applications.

  • Coordinate Enterprise UDFs, resources, rolls etc

  • Build and maintain Blue Origin IMS that integrates all product lines into a summary schedule

  • Training

  • Develop and conduct training for P6 user base

  • Develop and conduct training of scheduling fundamentals for PMs, CAMs and PP&C staff

  • Project Support

  • Surge support to program business offices in support of program baselining, critical path and variance analyses

  • Development of key performance indicators for process health

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, Industrial Engineering or related field

  • 6+ years extensive use/expert user of Primavera P6 with administrator experience

  • 10+ years scheduling experience

  • Highly skilled in setting up and maintaining the Primavera P6 Professional Project Management application

  • Practical knowledge of all other Primavera P6 functionality; report generation, user security

  • Proficiency with resource loaded schedules using Primavera (P6) software

  • Experience with managing subcontract effort in a prime IMS.

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Strong communication skills in technical work environments

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

  • 5+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace

  • Project Management certification (PMP/Certified Project Manager

  • Excellent understanding MS SQL in building queries and views and specific understanding of the Primavera tables and relationships

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience in a Department Of Defense compliant system

  • Experience with Deltek COBRA, cost/schedule integration tools, Empower

  • Hands-on Project Controls skillset, specifically in scheduling and planning complex projects, project controls, project planning and IMS

  • Experience in conducting schedule risk assessments

  • Self-starter, strong bias for action

  • Analytical, organization and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Responsibilities: * Lead the team that is accountable to program management for the development and tracking of the program plan; specifically, program budget and control accounts, accurate forecasts of future work and the estimate to complete, and analysis of actual costs * Serve as the primary program representative to steer enterprise Program Management Office initiatives * Serve as the primary representative to maintain and continuously improve the New Shepard Program Management Plan * Develop and maintain Program Schedule(s) within the Integrated Master Schedule * Perform schedule baseline change control, collect and track performance, conduct critical path and variance analyses * Provide visibility, status, and regular reviews on schedule performance * Compile inputs for management reporting and prepare analysis for senior management * Collaborate with other internal functional organizations unit to ensure schedule alignment * Communicate issues to stakeholders and provide mitigation recommendations * Resource load, analyze, and optimize Program Schedule to meet required dates * Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Buyers to status critical procurements and impact to schedule * Perform "what if" scenarios, and help to develop recovery plans * Track, trend and monitor cost * Ensure alignment of charge codes with budgeting, purchasing, and subcontract efforts * Provide status, forecast and specialized reports to upper management * Build and manage the Program Management Office team, including developing resource plans and profiles, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members. Qualifications: * Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Project Management * Broad/deep scheduling and planning skillset; Experience with large project controls, project planning and IMS; Proficiency with resource loaded schedules using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software * Earned Value Management (EVM) experience (e.g. Control Account Management)Experience with Deltek, COBRA, or other cost/schedule integration tools * Experience in one or more of the following areas: Budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting * Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project) * Strong communication skills in technical work environments * Analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills * Attention-to-detail and high-level of accuracy * Must be able to set a high hiring bar while evaluating and hiring top talent * Self-starter, with a strong bias for action * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
