The Prime Video Search team is looking for a high energy and experienced Senior Program Manager to help us build the future of digital video streaming services and to lead high-impact, cross-team projects and programs. The role requires hands-on program and project management skills, some technical knowledge, and excellent leadership skills. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing interactions with teams across Amazon, collecting business and system requirements from internal and external customers, driving project schedules from design to release, and communicating to senior leadership and development teams.
Key activities include:
Delivering process efficiencies and specific projects within Prime Video.
Cross-team coordination and prioritization of work relating to Search as it pertains to Content Launches, Customer Experiences, and Improving results.
Improving processes and communication across teams within Amazon.
Driving projects that span multiple Prime Video business functions and Amazon-wide teams.
You must be able to:
Interact with and influence Product Managers, Vendor Managers, Technical Program Managers, and multiple Development Teams to define and deliver complex initiatives.
Lead the effective and efficient delivery of the large, complex projects.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization.
Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
Create, maintain, and disseminate project and program information to stakeholders.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
