We are looking for an accomplished, motivated product leader to define and deliver new ways to connect people, improve communication, and facilitate collaboration across a wide range of business applications and corporate cultures.

This position is responsible for the messaging middle tier. It offers the opportunity to partner with other groups within teams to develop a deep understanding of their business requirements and user needs for chat. You will be responsible for coordinating product plans, building and managing roadmaps, designing new service features, and delivering them to enable our partner teams to unlock new markets. You will also manage key dependencies with other teams across Microsoft. The role is a mix a business analysis, product thinking, and cross team collaboration. It's a high value role that is both creative and technical with the opportunity to redefine how people work and collaborate.

  • 3-5 years of program management experience delivering end-user facing products and services

  • Ability to wear many hats and learn quickly, and the collaborative leadership skills to lead a change in direction when needed.

  • Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly-changing startup environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are very welcome.

  • Strong project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects with many partners.

  • Demonstrated experience across the entire product lifecycle from competitive research, ideation, user centered design, specification, architecture and the know-how required to lead your crew to realize your vision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical

  • Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies, service operations at scale, and general ability to ramp up and go deep in new technical areas

  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Partner collaboratively with the groups throughout Microsoft Teams to understand their business goals, user needs, and collect requirements and synthesize product plans to deliver maximum impact across all areas.

Finance Transformation is responsible for owning development and delivery of foundational platforms to enable Expedia's global expansion. This role will offer you significant cross-functional teamwork and partnership opportunities across the tax leadership team, various technology teams and broad business engagement. In this role, you will deliver roadmaps, strategy and resourcing to enable delivery. What you'll do: * Provide senior-level technology and product leadership to tax efforts * Partner cross-functionally with Expedia Global Tax and business stakeholders (business, finance, legal, accounting, etc.) to analyze and drive foundational requirements and develop and communicate product solution strategies * Develop and deliver holistic tax requirements and consult on solutions for transfer pricing, international tax and indirect tax to support global business expansion * Collaborate across brands and technology functions to ensure standard and global solutions for our brands and customers * Communicate up, down and sideways for project plans, milestones, requirements and RACI * Ensure that all tax frameworks are accurately represented in Finance Transformation product requirements, which relies on close collaboration with other tax disciplines * Ensure that post-implementation processes and controls are designed and executed in a sustainable and operationally efficient manner * Develop scalable processes and methodologies to evaluate and support new markets that leverage existing frameworks. * Stay connected with solution design, lead test plans and requirements for UAT and ensure that Tax requirements are included in the final delivery scope * Advocate for Tax in cross-organizational prioritization.
