Workday's Business Technology (BT) organization continues its mission to deliver unparalleled value to our business partners and customers. To support this mission, a small, but mighty team is responsible for developing a long-term vision for BT, setting goals and objectives and ensuring that we have the right plans in place to move with speed at scale. The team collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, business partners, and executives to understand the needs and priorities of the business, and supports the development of strategies that will help BT meet those needs.

About the Role

The BT team is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a love for strategy to join the team! The ideal candidate will work across functional areas and have a proven ability to implement change within a large scale organization. This individual will be responsible for leading BT's fiscal year planning process from strategy to execution. In addition, they will support BT in the development of product roadmaps, helping teams identify key opportunities for the future and developing a strategy to get there.

This individual will have the ability to think both strategically and tactically to drive outcomes. They will establish strong relationships with peers and influence future process improvements. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, analytical, able to multi-task across competing priorities and passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BT's annual planning process

  • Define & implement comprehensive annual planning cadence aligned to Workday's annual cadence & other key partners, including Finance and business stakeholders

  • Partner with leaders and business partners to assess existing processes; find opportunities to redesign and take action to unlock value and drive efficiencies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, and executives to ensure alignment and execution of plans

  • Support and/or facilitate key planning meetings and workshops

  • Develop and implement change enablement plans to spread awareness, drive consensus and educate

  • Proactively identify roadblocks and mitigate risks. Work with teams to develop effective solutions to overcome challenges.

  • Partner with BT leaders to develop long term product roadmaps

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Program Management

  • 5+ years experience with collaboration tools (i.e. G-Suite, Zoom, Slack, Miro)

  • 5+ years experience in Business strategy, operations or planning function at a large enterprise company

  • Bachelors Degree in related field

Other Qualifications

  • Strength in facilitating meetings and workshops, seeking input and storytelling

  • Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve strategic goals

  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to build and implement actionable plans with detailed timelines and to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to effectively drive large-scale change

  • Ability to analyze data to provide meaningful insights that can be translated into action

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Enthusiastic self-starter who thinks strategically, creatively solves problems and has a growth mindset

  • Affinity for technology and innovation, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $210,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $210,000 USD
