Sr. Production Coordinator

The Sr. Production Coordinator will own the product life cycle from order issue to delivery to customer. They will closely communicate with overseas and domestic factories on a daily basis to place orders and track all steps of production to ensure on time delivery.

This role can be hybrid after the training period.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Production Manager to manage daily production operations; this includes running Smartsheet or Excel reports, daily packages, sample library organization, WIP report review, production data entry, compilation and maintenance of production spreadsheets/files, and production tracking.

• Issue, track, prioritize, and coordinate purchase orders via AS400 and Smartsheet spreadsheets to execute on time deliveries.

• Maintain purchase order data changes in AS400, such as quantities, deliveries, and purchase order costs.

• Will review order log daily to track pending orders and purchase orders to be issued.

• Negotiate FOB costs with the factory based on order volumes.

• Monitor the production process and follow-up on all purchase order details. Will communicate daily with overseas vendors and internal cross-functional teams.

• Report delivery issues to the Director of Production and present options for resolution.

• Additional duties as assigned to meet deadlines, projects, and the company mission.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree specializing in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or Design preferred.

• Experience with an ERP system required; experience in AS400 is a plus.

• 3-5 years production experience in the garment or distribution industries preferred.

• Experience with the Purchasing function is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, including Smartsheet's.

• Timeline adherence and project management skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work independently, teamwork attitude with excellent follow-through and collaboration skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Earthwise CA salary range: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour based on experience, education, and geographic location.
