How you can make a difference
We are looking for a passionate and talented Sr. Product Owner to join our team in Draper, Utah. You will collaborate with product owners across our portfolio. You will work cross functionally with technology, sales, marketing, operations, and product development on roadmapping and launch strategies. You will play a key role in defining product capabilities and how to satisfy real-world customer needs. In addition to delivering value to our external users, you will be responsible to support our service delivery teams. This focus on service delivery extends to finding ways to build self-service capabilities into our applications and solutions. You will be the primary connection between strategic product leaders and product capabilities needed to achieve outcomes. You must have a proven track record of successful product management in a service-oriented business. Understanding of and experience using and developing health and personal spending accounts is highly desirable. Passion about understanding market drivers and proactively aligning them to user scenarios and product capabilities.
What you'll be doing
Gather feedback from internal and external constituents to ensure market problems are solved via our platforms applications
Create and validate use cases and jobs to be done for various user bases particularly end users, administrators, and partners
Conceptualize product architecture into use solution maps and brand experiences
Lead Product Owners in mentorship as well possibly supervise and manage career development as a team leader
Conceptualize solutions that align with HQY strategy and provide outcome-driven solutions
Validate concepts to ensure that the solution will solve the clients' and member needs
Create business cases for proposed solutions and investments
Present business case and data to executive and cross functional teams
Participate in the product review board to provide input regarding product/market needs and to provide feedback regarding prioritization
Work with Product Owners and Scrum teams to ensure that what is delivered meets the product/market goals/needs
Perform sales training and enablement
Work with product marketing to document and develop roll-out schedules that ensure a successful launch of new products and features
What you will need to be successful
10+ years of relatable professional experience
5+ years leading developing and enhancing product strategies
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team
People supervision and management experience
Mentor peers within product and influence technology teams and leaders
Oversee new team member onboarding and provide career development planning and opportunities
Empower team members to take responsibility for their jobs, meeting their individual, team, and company goals
Experience converting market problems into use cases and functionality mapping
Experience developing and managing front end and back end platforms
Proven track record of being able to efficiently and effectively gather, analyze, and validate capability alignments
Product Management experience working with aligning applications and platforms to market problems
Strong project management experience
Ability to influence and gather internal support cross functionally
Strong quantitative analytical ability
Superior communication skills both verbal and written
Overall passion to position HealthEquity competitively in the marketplace to drive business results
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and project team members to further the business objectives of our products and services
Understand agile software development process
Must be self-motivated and results oriented
