Candidate can be remote but must live and work in the US in Eastern or Central Time Zone.
Job Summary:
Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and work of the Development team. Accountable for managing the Product Backlog, including adding/removing/grooming items and defining their priorities. Communicates vision of the Product Manager to their scrum team and is responsible for prioritizing the product backlog to accomplish that vision.
Participates in all Agile activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning and sprint review.
Work with the team to groom backlog items: define acceptance criteria, help the team split and estimate stories. Chooses the right balance between feature development and technical (NFR) work to keep the product competitive. Available as needed to assist the scrum team with product questions and is given authority to make decisions about product features.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicating the product vision and sharing product expertise with the agile team/s.
Setting priorities effectively, i.e. prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring that the team understands why the stories are in a specific order to maximize the team's output.
Elaborating/publishing user story requirements in a timely fashion.
Clarifying user story requirements/answering team questions quickly and concisely.
Creating clear, testable acceptance criteria for stories,
Participating in scrum team meetings (grooming, planning, review, etc.).
Drive the agile team/s to break stories down into smaller stories that comfortably fit in a sprint and have business value.
Actively work with agile team/s to identify ways to increase velocity,
Engaging internal stakeholders and external contacts as needed to provide direction to the team independently of Product Manager/ Principal Product Owner.
Drives maximizing the business value and quality output of the agile teams.
Provides guidance to other Product Owners while providing training/ acting as a mentor to junior Product Owners.
Takes on some product management activities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Evaluate DXC PCRs
Assist with estimating.
Participate in solution design.
Assist with DXC escalation.
Production support and pager support.
Build BASE24 environments when required.
Software orders for DXC
Advocate for the customer with Product management and other areas within ACI
Monitor DXC cases and assist wherever possible.
Assist in implementation planning and support the implementation whenever required.
Assist and participate in Interac, PCI, 3PCRM and VISA audits.
