The A&R Product team delivers insurance-specific insights on the shopping marketplace and how to act on them to acquire and retain the right shoppers. We work closely with our partners in Analytics, Technology, and Client Engagement to meet our customers' needs.

About the Role

The Senior Product Manager I will own a product or one or more product features within a complex product. He/she will be responsible for developing a commercially successful product strategy and lead project execution with minimal guidance that is based on qualitative and quantitative customer understanding. He/she will develop strong technology relationships looking for ways to address customer needs and will be seen as a critical stakeholder for feedback on new feature ideas.

This role will be hybrid from our Alpharetta, GA offices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and making decisions driven by data
  • Leverages metrics to track progress on customer needs and ensures that product efforts move those metrics. Is proficient at pulling and accessing data from multiple sources, and managing through data ambiguity.

    Considers various options to balance complex conflicting priorities. Identifies the most important data to consider and sets KPIs, priorities and dashboards. Develops multiple hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies, including AB testing for interactive products, and assesses the expected efficacy of each. Is comfortable to take an analytical, data-driven approach for situations where rigorous data sets are unavailable.
  • Focusing on customer
  • Collecting and analyzing customer use cases to develop an understanding of their needs. It includes creating effective processes to address these needs and coaching the team to ensure they are met. Additionally, the role requires awareness of competitors and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the go-to-market and product marketing lifecycle - creating comprehensive launch strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales teams, taking responsibility for specific aspects of the launch and strategy implementation. It also entails managing the process and communication for products being phased out, including customer migration plans. Additionally, the role contributes to overall business strategic planning and sales strategy.

  • Understanding product Delivery & Development Lifecycle: Possesses a deep understanding of the overall product experience and utilizes this knowledge to create detailed prototypes.

    Oversee various stages of the product lifecycle, from planning to release. Play a key role in addressing complex design challenges and effectively communicate clear requirements for features or products. Demonstrate autonomy in managing products, involving leaders when necessary.
