The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Verticals will spearhead the development and management of go-to-market strategies for pivotal industry sectors. As an expert in the field, you will take charge of multiple domains such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Education, and Retail. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market dynamics, conducting competitive analysis, and crafting comprehensive messaging frameworks. You will contribute to the creation of sales support materials tailored to specific industries, facilitating internal training sessions to enhance sales effectiveness. As a thought leader, you'll leverage various mediums-blogs, datasheets, whitepapers, webinars, podcasts, and speaking engagements-to disseminate insights and expertise. Throughout these efforts, you will play a vital role in shaping RingCentral's future in vertical marketing.

This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in Product Marketing with experience building out product positioning, sales enablement, and collateral (blogs, datasheets, whitepapers, pitch decks, and product videos).

  • 3+ years experience with at least one of the following verticals: Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, and Education.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise business needs and buyer personas, particularly within UCaaS, CCaaS, or CPaaS

  • Experience in working with, and presenting to analysts including analyst briefings and speaking at analyst events

  • Experience hosting webinars, podcasts, and speaking at virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.

Job Duties:

  • Industry Analysis: Conducting thorough research on the target verticals to understand market dynamics, trends, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Customer Insights: Gathering insights into the unique needs, pain points, and behaviors of customers within each vertical.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for products or services within the vertical, considering factors such as positioning, messaging, pricing, and distribution channels.

  • Collaboration with Product Development: Working closely with product development teams to ensure that products are aligned with the needs and requirements of the target verticals.

  • Content Creation: Developing compelling marketing collateral, including case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and presentations, tailored to the vertical's audience.

  • Sales Enablement: Providing sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell products or services within the vertical.

  • Competitive Analysis: Monitoring competitor activity within the vertical and identifying opportunities for differentiation.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various teams within the organization, including sales, product management, and marketing, to align efforts and drive success in vertical markets.

  • Thought Leadership: Establishing oneself as a thought leader within the industry by participating in industry events, speaking engagements, and contributing to relevant publications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in systems administration, networking, or IT.

  • International marketing experience, with an emphasis on EMEA.

  • Technical understanding of APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.

  • Experience managing business continuity within a vertical such as Healthcare or Financial Services.

If you are hired in Belmont, CA the compensation range for this position is between $140k and $175k for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
