General Summary

This position will be a part of the downstream product marketing team including Cardiology, Oncology, and Neurology/General Genetics. This team manages Ambry's full menu of genetic tests and related programs.

A successful candidate develops and executes go-to-market strategy and develops and executes marketing plans that drive product/program revenue and growth for Ambry. This role includes the use of market segmentation to develop customer acquisition strategies, retention programs and ability to develop and monitor key metrics to demonstrate results. Additionally you will be the primary point of contact for sales needs including collateral, tools, presentations, etc. You will work with CL&D to develop and implement training programs. This role will interface with numerous functional areas including Sales, Commercial Learning & Development, Design Team, Web Team, Genetic Specialists, Genetic Counseling Services, R&D, Clinical Affairs, Legal and Compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of strategic GTM plans and marketing campaigns

  • Develops appropriate sales tools, collateral, web content, and communication content based on specific audience type and goals of initiative

  • Partners with tradeshow strategy manager to identify relevant industry tradeshows and promoting products/programs at selected tradeshows

  • Communicates with Sr. Leadership team on product performance, issues, or market changes

  • Participates on cross-functional teams to gain necessary feedback to ensure product success

  • Understands competitive landscape and stays on top of industry trends

  • Creates clear performance metrics and programs to measure effectiveness of relevant marketing efforts including competitor matrices

  • Develops, in collaboration with Learning & Development, the product and/or program messaging portion of training materials for Sales to ensure effective communication of core messaging

  • Collaborates with the Clinical Affairs/Research team to identify key research submissions that align with supporting Ambry value propositions

  • Acts as internal and external champion for the Ambry Oncology products

  • Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including privacy, HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements

  • Participates in and attends relevant national and regional trade shows and rides along with reps in the field

  • In collaboration with Sales, identifies and establishes relevant KOL speakers

  • Attends and participates in key client meetings, as needed

  • Must be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and requirements including supporting additional disease states as necessary

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field, oncology experience preferred

  • MBA preferred

  • Digital marketing experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word/Excel/Power Point

  • Well-acquainted with project management software and skills

  • Polished and engaging presenter to ensure messaging and value proposition is clear and understandable to target audience

  • Willing to travel for tradeshows, field rides, and client meetings

  • 3+ years experience in a product marketing role preference for the oncology diagnostic space

  • Physician marketing experience desired. Experience with imaging centers/radiologists and/or large health systems preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and manage product strategy and product roadmaps * Ability to create and validate business cases for products in the healthcare space.
