We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with a passion for TV & entertainment to guide TiVo's Video, Music, Sports, Books and Games Metadata products from an international perspective.

This position is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to impact tens of millions of users whether they are buying a product directly from TiVo or using our solution through our Service Provider partners in North America, Latin America, Europe or Asia Pacific including Samsung, Microsoft, LG, Proximus, Apple, Spotify and Google.

Here's what you get to do:

  • Define the strategy, features and product roadmap for TiVo's Video, Music, Sports, Books and Games Metadata Pipeline. Additionally, input into the strategy for Content Provider services and Discovery and Personalization cloud services and APIs.

  • Collaborate with other TiVo Product Managers to define how Video, Music, Sports, Books and Games metadata, discovery, logging and reporting features are used and delivered for core TiVo features such as browse, personalization, recommendations, search, voice and other new products across all TiVo platforms and endpoints.

  • Partner with TiVo Engineering to balance customer, partner, and competitive requirements with development priorities, cost, and schedules

  • Partner with our Sales team and Product Marketing Managers to package, deliver and deploy TiVo's content metadata, discovery and personalization services and APIs to our Service Provider partners at home or overseas

  • Define the performance, operational and toolset requirements and KPI's with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, scalability and reliability for the metadata, discovery and personalization services and APIs.

  • Market analysis to define where to target and localize our products.

  • Competitive analysis to make sure we're staying ahead of the crowd.

Here's what you'll need to be successful:

Must have prior experience and knowledge of entertainment metadata covering:

  • TV & Video

  • Music

  • Sports

  • Books

  • Games

  • Knowledge of web services, cloud systems, and technologies.

  • Experience of APIs, JSON and XML data formats as well as data ingest, matching, enhancement and delivery experience

  • Prior experience with content or data processing workflows and web services technologies is a major plus

  • Demonstrable expertise in managing business aspects of a cloud-based service infrastructure

  • Strategic vision, self-starter, leader, high energy level, excellent communication skills.

  • Significant experience as a product manager in a technical environment preferably at a large-scale cloud-based services company.

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills; TiVo expects product managers to be able to prepare, present and defend business justifications to senior members of the executive team

  • Demonstrated prior success in managing complex product and service combination

  • Ability to demonstrate the capability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize activities for optimal results

  • Strong team orientation and a track record of working collaboratively with internal and external team members (engineers, user experience designers, customers, etc.) in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong understanding of International metadata, TV and entertainment landscape

  • Experience working with partner and suppliers to build first-class content discovery solutions

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, internationally.

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Able to work equally effectively with customers, engineers, and peers to drive direction on product requirements and decisions

  • Bachelor's degree required (must have a technical undergraduate degree or be able to demonstrate technical capabilities with job experience)

  • MBA preferred, or representative experience of equal value
