The Role

As a Digital Product Manager with a technical focus at Metagenics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products and services. You will be responsible for leading the ideation, development, and optimization of customer-facing digital experiences, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver best-in-class digital solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive business results. Travel requirements will include 2-3 international trips per year and 3-4 trips to CA per year if not local.

This role will be responsible for taking Metagenics' long-term vision (next 3 -5 years) and bringing it life; thus, this role will be leading the company's digital innovation and new feature strategy. This role will build and define the future product roadmap and be responsible for executing against the roadmap. Much of our long-term vision is dependent on data collection, data integration and using data as a basis for our innovation and to feed new customer experiences. Experience with data integrations, data migrations, and developing digital products leveraging data is key in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our digital products, aligned with business goals and customer needs. Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation through the application of technology.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams. Work with engineering to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive the implementation of scalable and robust digital platforms and features.

  • Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products and features on time and within budget.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions and prioritize features based on customer feedback, usage metrics, and market trends. Continuously monitor and optimize product performance to drive business results.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, business leaders, and third-party partners, to ensure alignment and drive consensus on product priorities and roadmap. Be able to communicate succinctly and effectively.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, fostering a mindset of experimentation and learning. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains to accelerate product delivery and improve customer satisfaction.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years of experience in digital product management, with a focus on technical products and platforms.

  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, web technologies and/or data migrations and integration.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex digital products and features.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset and a drive to continuously improve the customer experience.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Experience working in e-commerce or digital retail environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience with data-driven product development and A/B testing techniques.

  • Experience in the Vitamins and Supplements Space and/or Health and Wellness

Compensation

The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $171,225/yr. to $190,376/yr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
