Resideo's Products & Solutions business is currently seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Security to lead the interfaces and access control product lines. The Sr. Product Manager, Security will lead the charge in growing the business by developing a long-term product strategy that includes channel and geographic expansion, and key New Product Introductions (NPIs). This role will collaborate cross-functionally to drive the strategy to daily execution.

This position reports to the Security Product Director as a highly motivated individual contributor. Key responsibilities encompass driving the 4Ps: NPI, customer segmentation and value propositions, pricing, product lifecycle management, and commercial launches. Key performance metrics include revenue growth, standard gross margin, and EBITDA.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Financial ownership
  • Manages value propositions, pricing, product mix, and cost economics to drive revenue growth and gross margin expansion; ability to deploy business analytics and judgements to drive the right actions
  • Market orientation
  • Lives in the "field of play", understanding customer needs, competition dynamics, and market trends that inform business decisions
  • Roadmap
  • Develops a vision and strategic plan for the product lines, in alignment with the security and overall Resideo strategy, that enables faster than market growth rates
  • NPI execution
  • Ability to perform market research / VOC and execute new product development from ideation to product launch
  • Product line optimization
  • Manages the product lines through the lifecycle curve, deploying the right levers in marketing, sales, engineering, and ISC; deploy portfolio optimization tactics to drive simplification
  • Commercial support - partner to sales and business development for RFPs or partnership execution related to the product line

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • BS in Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of related experience in fields including Product, Engineering, Business Strategy (combination of related field experience preferred) or 10+ years of experience with an advanced degree or professional certification
  • 5+ years of New Product Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
  • 2+ years of experience with modern access control and hybrid (wired/wireless) security systems

  • Salary Range: In compliance with applicable law, Resideo provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be performed in New York. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, the specific office location, and pay differences based on the local labor market. The expected base salary range for this role in Melville, NY is $161,000-$268,900.

  • Incentive Eligibility: This role is eligible to participate in the Resideo Bonus Plan (RBP) subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan. You can earn an annual bonus of 15% of your annual salary. This percent will be prorated based on your hire date. Business performance against pre-established financial goals for the fiscal year will determine 100% of the bonus payment amount. If your first day of eligibility under the Plan is after November 1st, you are not eligible for an RBP payout in March of the following year.
