The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of owning and delivering world-class mobile experiences, with deep knowledge of customer life cycle (awareness, acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention).

What will you do as a Sr. Product Manager

  • Drive acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives to grow adoption and engagement with the Best Buy mobile app.

  • Obsess over customers and work backwards from their needs to develop product strategies, roadmaps, and product requirements that deliver against our core customer value propositions and enterprise goals.

  • Accountability for uncovering strategic opportunities for a large product area within the mobile app customer experience. You'll generate big ideas, define the business case, drive organizational alignment, and bring new experiences to life that delight customers.

  • Own and deliver on key customer experience, engagement and business metrics including revenue and conversion rate.

  • Influence stakeholders and executives to drive alignment and coordinated execution of your roadmap.

  • Use data to inform the evolution of the customer experience. Prioritize work based on return on investment, customer satisfaction, product performance, short/long term impact and overall strategic company goals.

  • Manage the development, production and testing of digital based products. Manage and coordinate multiple product development teams to ensure consistent delivery of features.

  • Work closely with other team members and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle, from collecting external and internal customer input and gathering requirements, through specification writing, product roadmap development and maintenance, to feature acceptance testing.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering (or related field)

  • 7+ years of software product management experience that includes product strategy and execution.

  • Experience with hypothesis-driven digital experimentation (e.g. A/B and multivariate testing) to measure the impact of your initiatives and validate assumptions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA (or equivalent), with 10+ years of consumer-facing software product/program management experience

  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle-from product discovery, to roadmap planning, and delivery.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and outcome focused personality preferred, ability to work in an environment similar to a startup.

  • Passion for driving impactful business outcomes, with a natural bias for action and a desire to get the right things done.

  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to independently manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously; and proficiency at scaling yourself by leveraging cross-functional partners.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate complex issues and influence others, including business and technical leaders.

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills to validate assumptions, develop business cases, and inform roadmap prioritization.

  • Proven ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products and new features.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies, working in a fast-paced environment.

The industry is huge and so is the opportunity to change the way freight moves. The next time you're out driving and see an 18-wheeler on the road, that truck is empty 35% of the time. When big trucks drive empty, they throw unnecessary CO2 into the atmosphere. In fact, empty trucks generate more than 76 million metric tons of wasted carbon emissions every year. At Convoy, our digital freight network helps reduce those empty miles and cut carbon waste by nearly half. This is your opportunity to collaborate with an incredible group of people and help transform the freight industry. Join Convoy and help move the world forward. About the team: We think carriers and drivers are trucking awesome. They move our country forward and deserve more respect and appreciation than they receive today. We love solving problems to make life on the road hassle-free for drivers, maximizing earnings with full trucks on the lanes they like to run. We love rolling up our sleeves to get things done in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Our team's goal is to build the most robust and engaged carrier base in the freight industry. About you: You will be a senior member of the carrier marketing team. You will be responsible for driving lifecycle marketing initiatives to drive growth, and play a critical role in growing the world's leading digital freight network. You will: * Design and implement marketing campaigns using both paid and owned media channels, with a focus on robust experimentation methods to grow carrier activation, engagement, and retention - all in a data-driven, scalable and efficient manner. * Design, analyze, optimize and automate activation, engagement and retention funnels. * Manage carrier education programs designed to increase activation, engagement, and retention. * Partner deeply with Product and Engineering teams to define and implement strategies and initiatives that drive carrier activation, engagement and retention. * Partner closely with the digital marketing and creative teams to develop and optimize assets to fuel growth marketing initiatives. * Synthesize vast amounts of data and report key insights and findings on a recurring basis. * Manage and create dashboards to allow real time access to KPI against goals across the organization and actionable insights. * Create written documentation to communicate experiments and their results with the rest of the team and company, including lessons, action items, and recommended optimizations. We're looking for someone who has: * 7+ years of experience in growth marketing / lifecycle marketing. * A successful track record of building and executing GTM strategies for hyper-growth businesses. * Deep technical and marketing technology background. * Inspire confidence and be influential with a diverse group of stakeholders to create strong buy-in with technical, creative and operational groups. * App marketing, startup, tech and/or freight brokerage experience is a plus. * Self-motivated; willing to be proactive and take initiative on open-ended projects with little oversight. Convoy is an equal-opportunity employer and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you're a passionate team player who wants to have an outsized impact on a diverse and dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you! Convoy Seattle WA
