The Last Mile Global Fleet and Products team is seeking a talented Sr. Product Manager to join our team. Our team is scaling fast and the Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for 1) developing the procurement strategy to support Amazon's growing vehicle needs; 2) developing relationships with different service providers to upfit the vehicles to meet our continuously improving design and safety specifications; and 3) building scalable mechanisms to monitor manufacturing processes and the vehicle supply chain to deliver vehicles on-time and up to our quality standards. You will be expected to engage with senior leaders, both externally and internally. You will run a large program that cuts across categories and teams within Amazon. You will also need to Think Big and carry a long-term vision for the growth of the fleet, the right procurement strategies needed to support that growth and the right service capabilities that we need to deliver a best in class customer experience.

  • 4+ years of product development experience

  • A solid track record in a partner facing role with a demonstrated ability to maintain strong cross-functional relationships and a customer focus

  • Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems and business challenges by analyzing and modelling data

  • Strong knowledge of Amazon delivery operations

  • Passion and knowledge for logistics and transportation

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.

  • Ability to work with teams remotely with effective influence.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments

  • Travel for conferences, trade shows, and event

  • Strong operations background and able to understand vehicle specifications

  • Demonstrated experience of negotiating large fleet business agreements

  • Prior legal, finance, banking, or consulting experience servicing logistics or operations companies

As a Senior Finance Manager in Global Mile, you will be the finance leader for our Global Logistics programs that enable selection expansion across regions. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain performance measurements, provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting, and manage special projects to continuously lower costs for customers and improve selection and placement of inventory. In addition, this role will own defining the product requirements for full automation of financial processes (payables, receivables, accounting and reporting) as Amazon expands it's operations across multiple origins and destinations. The successful candidate will help drive the growth and controllership of Global Small Parcel Operations. Key responsibilities include: * Lead financial decisions around small parcel shipping product for our global sellers. * Develop necessary requirements to automate the financial operations, reporting and accounting transactions associated with all new product launches. * Develop mechanisms to measure the success of our selection expansion programs. * Lead the annual operational planning process and development of the three year strategic plan. * Drive variance analysis against budgets for the network, identify risks and opportunities. * Support the execution of key financial targets and metrics through the development and implementation of proactive dashboards, ongoing reporting, measurements and variance analysis. * BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 10 years of finance experience, OR master's degree and 8 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Sufficient understanding of International Trade and Trade Regulations. * Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results. * MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience. * Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management. * Previous experience within a Manufacturing, Distribution Center or Cross border Logistics processes, either in a B2B and/or B2C environment.
