The Last Mile Global Fleet and Products team is seeking a talented Sr. Product Manager to join our team. Our team is scaling fast and the Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for 1) developing the procurement strategy to support Amazon's growing vehicle needs; 2) developing relationships with different service providers to upfit the vehicles to meet our continuously improving design and safety specifications; and 3) building scalable mechanisms to monitor manufacturing processes and the vehicle supply chain to deliver vehicles on-time and up to our quality standards. You will be expected to engage with senior leaders, both externally and internally. You will run a large program that cuts across categories and teams within Amazon. You will also need to Think Big and carry a long-term vision for the growth of the fleet, the right procurement strategies needed to support that growth and the right service capabilities that we need to deliver a best in class customer experience.
4+ years of product development experience
A solid track record in a partner facing role with a demonstrated ability to maintain strong cross-functional relationships and a customer focus
Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems and business challenges by analyzing and modelling data
Strong knowledge of Amazon delivery operations
Passion and knowledge for logistics and transportation
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
Ability to work with teams remotely with effective influence.
Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
Travel for conferences, trade shows, and event
Strong operations background and able to understand vehicle specifications
Demonstrated experience of negotiating large fleet business agreements
Prior legal, finance, banking, or consulting experience servicing logistics or operations companies
