The Consumer Experience Technology (CXT) team owns the technology stack for Amazon.com websites worldwide from the front-end customer experience to back-end service technology and website hosting. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager, International for our Customer Journey team. Are you interested in evaluating how the innovations being built to solve problems in one country can best be used in another? Do you want to be the primary point of contact for country leaders world-wide and help evolve features within the Customer Journey to to solve the unique challenges within a given locale? The Customer Journey team is responsible for the Amazon.com homepage, site navigation and checkout experiences for desktop and mobile. This is a high profile and visible position, interacting with country managers and leaders within teams across Amazon such as Fresh, Prime, Music, Video, Alexa, Kindle, Retail teams and Customer Service. You will be the bridge between our technical teams in Seattle & Austin and our world-wide stakeholders. You will be working with seasoned managers, engineers, product managers and designers working to make Amazon the most loved shopping experience on Earth and one that meets the needs of our international customers.
Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, business judgment, customers focus, and ability to work cross functionally (especially across business and technology stakeholders) and cross organization. They have proven track record of delivering projects from concept to launch, can communicate exceptionally to all levels of the organization, across timezones and can balance customer needs with business goals to develop the ideal solution. They like to think big, but aren't afraid of complex analysis and can support decisions with data.
As Principal Product Manager, International, you will be responsible for the following:
Own the international roadmap for all Customer Journey teams
Help define priorities across all international locales, balancing trade-offs of local importance, global value, complexity and resource availability
Establish a set of international goals for Customer Journey and communicate and track progress to goals
Identify and champion new opportunities for Amazon to innovate on behalf of our customers worldwide and ways to test and learn quickly to validate hypothesis
Deliver results as an individual contributor by influencing roadmaps, representing the needs of international teams and effectively communicating to all stakeholders
