The Senior Product Manager, Health Analytics reports directly to the Head of Product, Clinical Solutions Platforms and drives the strategic development of shared analytics and reporting platform capabilities across Elsevier's Clinical Solutions portfolio. You will work closely with internal and external customers, cross-functional stakeholders, and other platform product owners to shape the future of product offerings in support of the broader Clinical Solutions strategy.
Develop centralized (where applicable) and reusable analytics, data science platforms, applications, and services to support the Clinical Solutions strategy
Align closely with the commercial strategies and customer use cases across the portfolio
Build deep partnerships with business, product management, and technology leaders
Enable data-driven product development and decision making across the Health Markets portfolio
Be a champion for change, cultivating a culture of product excellence, innovation, experimentation, and data democratization
Serve as an expert in the overall Health Markets analytics and reporting strategy, advancing data acquisition, transformation, and utilization both internally and externally through partnerships
Work directly with customers and other customer-facing product owners to develop a platform vision and roadmap aligned with business value and strategy
Build and present business cases to accelerate platform development
Actively seek various options and opinions, then balance complex conflicting priorities and help drive reusable, forward-looking solutions for complicated design challenges
Evangelize and champion the roadmap to all stakeholders
Understand emerging technologies and how they may be applied within the organization
Employ evidence-based decision making to test and iterate on product features
Write business documentation for an executive audience
Identify and highlight new trends, potential problems, and opportunities early
Encourage and coach others to seek alternative ways to solve complex problems
Develop new ideas to improve process and product, and can drive iterative and incremental implementation
Help others understand situations by communicating business context
Establish rapport with others on the team and across teams and looks for ways for team to work with other teams and divisions.
Experience and Education Experience:
Long-term ownership and success in leading product life-cycle strategy and planning, including the release of multiple, integrated products and features, preferably working with inter-organizational APIs, including those within the health domain.
Extensive experience working with analytics and business intelligence systems, as well as the underlying data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
Experience leading to demonstrable results working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
Undergraduate degree in a technical subject, or relevant work experience required. Master's degree in technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is strongly preferred.
