The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar global business which significantly contributes to Amazon's profitability. The Gift Cards team is responsible for creating and enhancing multiple products sold globally through the Amazon website, third-party brick-and-mortar stores, and corporate partners. Our product lines include a range of digital, physical and stored value products which help customers manage and add funds to their Amazon Balance.
The Sr. Product Manager for Gift Cards will own delivering a top 2020 priority with global impact. A successful candidate must thrive working with cross-functional teams and enjoy operating in an ambiguous environment under tight timelines. A successful candidate will be highly resourceful, customer obsessed, think and act both strategically and tactically, and work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. She or he will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment. This is a highly visible role, with the opportunity to work with business and technical leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities include the following:
Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
Determine requirements and work with key stakeholders to deliver a key business priority for 2020, including engineering and teams across Amazon.
Communicate with management and senior executives about product direction, strategy and the operational execution.
Handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively manage expectations and resolve conflicts that balance customer and company needs.
Work with UX design, engineering, business, and operations to define detailed requirements.
Author business cases, working backwards documents, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
