Senior Product Manager - CPaaS Portfolio: Low-Code Integration Studio & Apps Development

What is Integration Studio? It's a low code/no-code application development platform that lets you build powerful cloud apps with flexible, visual, workflow models instead of clunky custom code.

This position at Sangoma gives you the opportunity to craft the future of Sangoma's low code/no-code application development platform, Integration Studio, and very critically the commercial applications we build with it. As the Senior Product Manager, you will partner closely with Engineering, Sales, and cross-functional leaders (sales, marketing, customer success, finance, legal) across the company to develop and drive the product strategy and execution for Sangoma's CPaaS business.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Prioritize, define, and ensure the success of product features for various users at the roadmap/release level as well as functionalities within each feature at the sprint level (two-week sprints).

  • Prioritize what we should build and when by collaborating with stakeholders on product strategy and making data-driven decisions.

  • Define how those features will work and look through close collaboration with engineers in design sessions, mockups, UX review, and usability testing.

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of your users and customers, internal (professional services and business units), and external (partners, customers, end-users). Be their advocate.

  • Manage your team's backlog through planning and working closely with engineers.

  • Ensure that feature and service development incorporate and address upstream and downstream integration and support needs.

  • Share ideas and receive feedback on new features through discussion and concept design reviews with stakeholders and collaborators.

  • Ensure successful delivery of features and participate in go-to-market activities (documentation, training, webinars, etc.).

  • Follow your work through to customer impact by tracking adoption/usage, talking to customers and partners, prioritizing bugs and enhancements, and recommending additional investments to meet the market.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

  • Minimum of 6 years of directly related work experience. And 3 years of experience in senior product management/product development leadership with a focus on SaaS software development in the CPaaS space.

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with a proven ability to prioritize, negotiate, and execute in order to accomplish amazing things

  • Ability to draw clarity out of complex and ever-changing environments, comfortable working through ambiguity

  • Strong communicator with the ability to clearly articulate complex and abstract ideas

  • Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency. Must be a resourceful, proactive, and passionate team player that works well in collaborative and matrix organizations

  • Demonstrated technical background; an engineer at heart with a passion for software and an innate desire to make an impact

  • Exceptionally imaginative, collaborative, and truly excited about building great product features and experiences

  • Be able to lead and drive a team of developers to realize your product vision

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • Experience in Agile Product Owner role

  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related engineering field. MBA preferred.
