DESCRIPTION

The AWS Developer Relations Team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Product Manager to transform the way hands-on technical builder learn, experiment, and seek guidance on AWS services.
You will have the opportunity to work with teams across AWS to shape and influence the strategy for how we help Developers, Cloud Infrastructure Architects, and DevOps Engineers use AWS to solve everyday challenges. You will be responsible for defining the strategy and user experience for our builder focused web properties aimed at streamlining education and building community.
Ideally, you are someone that has experience building programs that foster deep, meaningful adoption of technology. You have an innate understanding of technical builders needs and how they make decisions to use technology. You are knowledgeable about current state-of-the-art cloud technologies and understand how they are driving change for ways that developers conceive, build, and operate systems. Preference for this role to sit in Seattle WA, but open to these additional locations: Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Bay Area (SFO & Santa Clara) CA, Austin TX, Portland OR, Arlington VA, New York City NY, and Los Angeles CA. Relocation offered to these locations only from within the US only.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Help define roadmaps, prioritization, and interface with engineering teams.
Maintain and grow our builder-focused web properties aimed at educating and connecting technical communities.
Interface with marketing and operational teams across the company to influence integration of developer-centric event experiences into existing event programming.
Cultivate and leverage strong relationships with key senior leadership stakeholders across the company to build trust and representation of the Developer Relations organization.
Create playbooks to ensure event programs scale globally
Partner and communicate effectively with global stakeholders, agency partners, and vendors
Self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done.
Ability to strategically think and problem solve
Exceptional writing skills for documents
Travel: ~15%, including international

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
