Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Product Manager with a passion in Modern Business Intelligence products to own the definition, execution, and delivery of the systems supporting data analytics and data driven decision making in one of the world's largest and most complex data environments. In partnership with business, finance, technology teams and leadership throughout AWS, you will play a critical role in AWS Finance Business System team and become a business owner, working with your peers and senior management to influence, guide and grow our system supporting the right financial and business analysis for the global AWS finance organization.

You will improve the ease of understanding, flexibility, and customer value for our existing AWS Business System products and develop new products. You will also analyze data to measure and enhance our products, and you will help develop new ideas based on your experience in finance BI and your contact with our stakeholders, customers and prospects.

The successful candidate possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision as well as the drive and attention to detail that transforms vision into a reality. You must enjoy spending time with clients (internal and external) to understand their needs, and to define innovative solutions.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive product prioritization and detailed product definition for AWS Business System

  • Engage with customers through a variety of channels and serve as the voice of the customer internally

  • Define and maintain a product roadmap with inputs from all stakeholders

  • Drive delivery of your products and features

  • Collect user feedback and analyze data to measure and enhance the product

  • Provide effective written and verbal updates on the product roadmap and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, results oriented Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM). AWS Security is responsible for driving innovative enhancements that raise the bar for how AWS employees interact with resources, systems, and data. As a Principal Technical Program Manager TPM, you will work with strategic leadership (including Business, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams) to deliver the strategy to solve concrete and realistic business challenges. Your ability to remove ambiguity, deep dive into market parameters, understand software development costs, dependencies, and technical details to building high scalable customer facing services is essential. The successful candidate is one who loves working directly with software developers to understand their needs, and design security systems and solutions that enable developers to operate more quickly. You will need to represent the teams well to other stakeholders, and build out quarterly processes to continue to adjust and redefine the roadmap as new findings and needs occur. You must be able to: * Interact with Project Sponsors, other Technical Program Managers, and multiple development teams to define and deliver complex cross-functional projects. * Drive large scale projects spanning teams across AWS from inception to conclusion, define epic stories, research appropriate technical solutions. * Clearly communicate vision, plans and project status to management and key technical and business stakeholders. * Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities. * Engage with other teams across AWS to evangelize the team and your projects, to build relationships and help identify existing technologies that can be leveraged to meet your team's goals. * Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs balancing the business needs versus constraints. * Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
