What You'll Get to Do:

This technical position is responsible under limited supervision to be fully technically proficient with assigned electromechanical product(s) categories and interface with assigned product teams, business development (BDM) team, direct sales teams, indirect sales team (Reps), and customers develop product strategies and support promotion and design in of assigned products. The position will be responsible for understanding and promoting product(s) features and benefits, developing pricing strategy and policy, and implementation of promotional and sales support materials.
1.Sales and Product Strategic Planning and Promotion:

  • Help create, implement, and manage assigned product(s) strategy to product teams, business development (BDM) team, direct sales teams, indirect sales team (Reps), and customers.

  • Technical Support for assigned product(s)

  • Analyze, develop, and support product price strategies

  • Responsibility for product budget, product PSI, product promotions

  • Achieve business objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Coordinate with factories (EMCBD) on product; pricing, promotion, new product development etc. Coordination between customer engineering and factory engineering (ECMBD) in Japan.

  • Develop competitive analysis and product cross-references.

  • Develop marketing plan for existing and/or new product introduction (NPI) working with CSD Marketing team.

  • Develop and implement product training for business development (BDM) team, direct sales teams, indirect sales team (Reps), and customers.

  • Perform product analysis or research to determine future product development requirements for NA markets.

  • Work with marketing team to set prices to be competitive while achieving the profit goals of the Corporation.

  • Define and investigate potential target markets and customers.

  • Support CSD Marketing to development product advertising, press releases, and promotional campaigns, etc..

  • Determine and implement market strategies on how we should compete against our competitors.

  • Communicate with M.E.W. regarding product, pricing, and delivery issues.

  • Provide technical or application engineering assistance as needed as a back-up to the technical or application engineering support personnel.

  • Product knowledge:

  • Very strong knowledge and understanding of electromechanical and solid state relays and contactors

  • Ability to directly communicate with business development (BDM) team, direct sales teams, indirect sales team (Reps), and customers on assigned product(s) technical issues.

  • Ability to support engineering design in of assigned products(s)

  • Ability to develop technical proposal for new products and/or product enhancements

  • Provide RoHS-related technical support; coordinate with ECMBD personnel as needed.

  • Be the initial technical point of contact for any assigned product claims: catalog claims, perform initial product reliability testing, provide support analysis and reporting of claim issues.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • College degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), with at least 7 years related experience in electromechanical and/or solid state relay technology.
