This is a permanent position in the Engineering industry that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our product development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating designs, developing bills of material, and formulating test plans. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, particularly in the switchgear domain. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical OR Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities: 1. Participate in all phases of product development, from concept to production. 2. Create and develop innovative product designs that meet customer requirements and align with our business goals. 3.

Develop and maintain bills of material (BOMs) for new and existing products. 4. Create comprehensive test plans to ensure product performance and reliability. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure product feasibility and viability. 6.

Conduct detailed mechanical and electrical analyses of products to identify and resolve design issues. 7.

Stay updated on latest industry trends and advancements in switchgear technology. 8. Ensure all product designs comply with industry standards and regulations. 9.

Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process. 10. Lead and participate in product review meetings and design brainstorming sessions. Qualifications: 1.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical OR Electrical Engineering or related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in product development, preferably in the Engineering industry. 3. Proficient in creating designs and developing bills of material (BOMs). 4.

Experience in formulating and implementing test plans. 5. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, particularly in the switchgear domain. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. 7.

Strong communication and teamwork skills. 8. Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 10.
