Job Summary

The Customer Identity product management team is responsible for creating a seamless and secure user experience for accessing Spectrum services on all of our customer-facing applications and websites. This feature set includes username/password authentication, self-service username creation and recovery flows, authentication security, user management, and automatic authentication. We are looking for a self-starter who excels in a collaborative team environment to join us in the design and development of new features and enhancements for Customer Identity products.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively tracks progress of projects through the SDLC

  • Identifies risks, dependencies, next steps

  • Drafts timelines/Gantt charts to aide in setting expectations on product delivery

  • Effectively communicates timelines, risks, dependencies, next steps, and other items to Business

  • stakeholders and various impacted teams

  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of all projects

  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

  • Understands business requirements and ensures the end product matches the business expectation

  • Conducts market research and data analysis to aide in Requirement Gathering stages

  • Documents use cases and test scenarios to aide in successful deployment of new products

  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure frictionless integration with developed services

  • Presents proposed solutions in a straightforward, precise manner for Executive review and approval

  • Models and forecasts business trends, based on historical data sets and planned product or feature launches

  • Apply lessons learned to new projects to ensure continuous operational improvement in developing, implementing, and launching new products.

  • Support Software Development, IT, and Testing teams throughout the entire SDLC

Required Qualifications

Skills /Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Knowledge of SDLC

  • Project Management experience

  • Proven track record of championing projects through the entire SDLC, from concept to launch and throughout post-launch support

  • Ability to effectively and confidently lead meetings with cross-functional teams

  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn/research about emerging technologies

  • Self-starter with ability to work with little supervision

  • Ability to document, prepare and present project plans/timelines

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change

  • Ability to quickly become subject matter expert on multiple backend services as well as existing products/platforms

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

  • Expertise in Visio and PowerPoint


Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Math or related field or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience
5 plus years Business Analysis or Project Management Experience
1 - 3 years Related industry experience (Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online Services)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

  • Ability to communicate with direct management and company personnel

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Responsible for defining and owning the product for the full product development lifecycle, including ongoing product improvement. Perform business analysis duties including business requirements to further articulate product definition and requirements documentation in requirement management tool. Advance understanding of industry best practices in product development process specific to the Connected Home space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position. Analyze information and provide high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation and support of a Project Manager. Supports the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results. Works with technical and business teams, product management peers, project management and business analysis team, and other cross-functional teams to define and implement strategic vision of Product Owner, as well as leading the product launches and enhancements in the portfolio.
